Kelly Clarkson has signed on for a new show on ABC called “Duets”, which will give a little competition to “The Voice” on NBC.
Clarkson and fellow judges Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles, Lionel Richie, and Robin Thicke will perform as well as judge.
The four singing stars will search the country for a duet partner, and then perform weekly for a live studio audience.
In a press release from ABC, Kelly Clarkson states, “The simple fact that I get to go out and find two people I believe in, sing with them every week and help them accomplish their dream is an amazing thing I can’t wait to be a part of.”
At the end the singing competition show, one singer will win a record contract with Hollywood Records.
