Nate Dogg’s funeral is will reportedly be held in Long Beach, California this Saturday.
Nate, whose real name is Nathaniel Dwayne Hale, died at the age of 41 from complications arising from strokes he had suffered in 2007 and 2008. The rapper passed away last Tuesday.
There will be a public service at at the Long Beach Cruise Terminal, which will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
The following day a memorial benefit will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, hosted by DJ Quik.
“We appreciate all the words of encouragement and all the thoughts and prayers they have been sending our way,” Nate’s sister Hale-Burns said. “Remember my brother for what he loved — doing his music.”
