Charlie Sheen received a visit by Los Angeles Police Department detectives last night to investigate a possible violation of the temporary restraining order.
Police responded to Charlie Sheen’s home on Thursday night and confiscated an antique rifle and bullets from his home.
“LAPD detectives responded to Charlie Sheen’s home this evening to investigate a possible violation of a temporary restraining order,” LAPD spokeswoman Norma Eisenman revealed.
“It came to the attention of the LAPD that Sheen is the registered owner of firearms,” the LAPD said in a statement late Thursday night, and conducted their investigation at Sheen’s home “to determine if he is in possession of firearms and ammunition in violation of the [restraining order].”
Police took the bullets and an antique gun, but Sheen was not arrested. Charlie was said to be having dinner during the police search.
In other Charlie Sheen news, the actor and his estranged wife Brooke Mueller have reportedly come to an agreement on custody of their twin boys.
Charlie Sheen took to his new Twitter account following the visit by police, tweeting, “The LAPD were awesome. Absolute pros! They can protect and serve this Warlock anytime!!”
