Country music legend Ferlin Husky has died at the age of 85.
Singer and songwriter Ferlin Husky, who was also a comedian, passed away on Thursday.
Husy was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2010 and was one of the first country stars to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Ferlin reportedly helped Elvis Presley when he first started out as one of his supporting acts.
The singer’s songs included “Wings of a Dove”, “Gone, “A Fallen Star”, and “Timber I’m Falling”.
Husky also appeared opposite Zsa Zsa Gabor in “Country Music Holiday” and with Jayne Mansfield in “Las Vegas Hillbillies”.
