Comedian Gallagher was hospitalized after he collapsed during his performance in Rochester, Minnesota.
Gallagher, whose real name is Leo Anthony Gallagher, was doing a show in Minnesota when he collapsed and was seen clutching his chest.
Sources reveal that Gallagher was performing his “sledge-o-matic” routine, smashing watermelons with a sledgehammer, when he just fell backward onto the stage. His eyes were shut and he was said to be shaking.
Doctors in the audience rushed to help Gallagher and waited beside him until an ambulance arrived.
A source said that Gallagher had complained of pain in his left arm and shortness of breath earlier that evening before his show.
Gallagher’s manager, Craig Marquardo, said the comedian is in stable condition.
