Charlie Sheen talked with a Los Angeles radio station this morning, half-way apologizing for some recent rants and stating he would like to see Rob Lowe hired as his replacement on “Two and a Half Men”.
Charlie Sheen was a guest on Los Angeles radio station K-Earth 101, and apologized for his recent rant against his former c0-star Jon Cryer and weighed in on his choice for a replacement.
“I was in a mood, and I threw that out there,” Sheen, 45, told the radio station. “It’s a half apology– it’s an apol!”
Sheen also claimed he’s been talking to his rumored replacement Rob Lowe, saying, “He’s a buddy of mine, he’s a beautiful man, a brilliant actor, and I hope he does it and kicks its ass because I still get (paid).”
Charlie and Rob, 46, grew up together in Hollywood.
Us Magazine ran a poll where 35 percent of 14,000 voters chose Rob Lowe as the best replacement for Sheen. John Stamos received 55 percent of the votes.
Sheen had a bit of advice for the actor that replaces him, saying, “Don’t look at the 177 episodes I brilliantly did. Just park those! Ignore the 400 reruns every week that you can’t avoid. Cancel your Sheen app. I’d recommend, in all seriousness, that they make it their own.”
Who would you like to see replace Charlie Sheen on the sitcom?
