Former figure skating champ Tonya Harding has given birth to a baby boy.
Tonya Harding, 40, welcomed a son on Saturday in Washington State.
“Everybody’s healthy and happy,” her friend Don Horn tells the newspaper.
“She’s always wanted a baby,” Horn adds. “She was told she could never have a child “¦ and guess what? It really is a miracle and she really is very happy.”
This is the first child for Tonya and her husband Joseph Price, 42.
Harding was thrust into the limelight when she won the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in 1991, but soon became infamous after her ex-hubby and bodyguard hired a man to injure her competitor, Nancy Kerrigan.
Harding pleaded guilty and was banned from amateur skating.
