Mick Jagger will reportedly be performing at this year’s Grammy’s as part of a tribute to late soul singer Soloman Burke.
The Rolling Stones have been a hugh success in their careers but have only been involved in the Grammy Awards one time, when they appeared via satellite to receive a lifetime achievement award in 1986.
Neil Portnow, president and CEO of the Recording Academy, says, “We’re thrilled, delighted, excited and very much looking forward to Mick doing his debut on the Grammy stage. It’s extraordinary to many of us that the fact is, this will be the first time; he has never performed on the Grammy stage.”
