The executive producer of the “Chronicles of Narnia”, Perry Moore, was found dead in his apartment in New York. Moore was 39.
Perry Moore was found unconscious by his partner, Hunter Hill, in their Soho apartment’s bathroom after an overdose of OxyContin. Moore was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency responders arrived.
“We’re in shock,” Moore’s father, Bill, stated. Bill also said he had just talked to his son the evening before, saying his son was in a “great, great mood.”
An official cause of death will be determined by autopsy.
Moore wrote “Hero” in 2007 about the world’s first gay teenage superhero. Moore and his partner Hunter Hill wrote and directed “Lake City”, a drama that starred Sissy Spacek and Rebecca Romijn.
