Jason Mraz Vows Not To Wed Until Gay Marriage Is Legal

Singer/songwriter Jason Mraz says he won’t marry his fiance Tristan Prettyman until gay marriage is legalized in the United States.

Singer Jason Mraz proposed to Tristan Prettyman in December, but says it may be a while before they actually tie the knot.   He plans to wait to walk down the aisle once gay marriage is legalized.

Mraz explains, “We both feel that in our engagement, we have a union that’s really special and can’t be broken. It’s a sacred bond.

“The wedding would be nice for our family, our friends, our community – our moms especially – and so it puts us in the fight. We can’t get married until (gay) marriage is legal and equal… but she (Prettyman) is definitely my dream girl.”

We wonder what his fiance thinks about his decision!
