George Clooney’s girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis won’t be having a fairytale wedding to the gorgeous actor because Clooney says he won’t be tying the knot again.
Actor George Clooney, 49, was interviewed on Piers Morgan Tonight on Friday, along with his father Nick, when said he “yearned for the moment” his son would marry his girlfriend Elisabetta. Clooney’s father and mother Nina have been married for over 50 years.
But George shot that idea down, stating, “I hate to blow your whole news story, but I was married, so I gave it a shot.”
George was married to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993.
Balsam, 51, is still acting and appears as Natalie Portman’s mother in “No Strings Attached”.
George has dated Italian model/actress Elisabetta Canalis, 32, since 2009.
Clooney also talked about his humanitarian work in Sudan, as well as his recent bout with malaria.
“Even with malaria, it’s just good fun,” he joked, “I guess the mosquito in Juba looked at me and thought I was the bar.”
