Chuck Berry had to cut his Chicago, Illinois show short Saturday evening when he collapsed on the stage during his concert.
Legendary musician Chuck Berry, 84, scared fans when he suddenly slumped over a keyboard and had to be escorted off stage to be checked over by paramedics.
Berry was examined by paramedics and did return to the stage to thank his concerned fans. But Chuck told the crowd he couldn’t continue the show.
Concert promoter Michael Petryshyn stated, “All I know is he felt faint, he felt weak, and I was told to call 911.”
The singer had performed two shows in New York City on Friday night before the collapse.
