Camille Grammer has had her legal team ask the judge to reject her estranged husband’s request to have a quickie divorce, as well as claiming the estate is worth $120 million.
Kelsey Grammer’s estranged wife is attempting to put the brakes on his play to remarry, asking the judge to reject his quickie divorce.
In Camille’s declaration, she says Kelsey is trying to bifurcate their divorce because he intends to remarry as soon as possible.
Camille adds, “I don’t believe this is a sufficient reason to prejudice my rights to the community estate.”
In the legal documents it states their assets including “multiple real estate properties” and over 25 vehicles.
Camille’s attorneys don’t believe Kelsey meets the legal requirements for a quick divorce decree. Also if the court accepts Camille’s request, she wants $10 million immediately until a final decision is made dividing their assets.
As for Kelsey, he appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, confirming that he and Kayte Walsh plan to marry next month.
“Kayte’s my new girl, and we’re planning to get married soon,” he says. “Sometime in February.”
It looks as if Kelsey’s scorned wife is going to make it difficult for him to marry any time soon.
