Bruno Mars Arrested On Drug Possession Charges


Songwriter and singer Bruno Mars was arrested on suspicion of narcotics possession early Sunday morning at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas.   Read more on Bruno Mars’ arrest below.

Bruno Mars, whose real name is Peter Hernandez, was arrested at 2:40 a.m.   after Hard Rock security confronted the singer in a bathroom and discovered him with narcotics.

Sgt. John Sheahan said he did not know Sunday afternoon what drug Mars possessed.

Bruno Mars found fame this year for songs such as “Nothin’ On You” by B.o.B, “Billionaire” by Travie McCoy, and for co-writing “Right Round” by Flo Rida.

Mars had performed on Sunday at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas where he was later arrested.
