Conjoined Twins Abby & Brittany Hensel (Video): Two Headed Girl

Abby Hensel and Brittany Hensel born March 7, 1990 in Carver County, Minnesota. They are conjoined twins, and just turned 16. See the Abby and Brittany Hensel conjoined twins video after the bump. So interesting!

They are two well-adjusted, vigorous and even athletic people whose complicated but high-functioning anatomy precludes separation. Abby and Brittany have a strong sense of self, with a balanced blend of being individuals, but work together.

Their continued good health is of some concern because only four known sets of conjoined twins who share an undivided torso and two legs have ever survived into adulthood, and most have congenital heart defects or other organ anomalies. None have shown up in the Hensels’ case.

They have so far had no desire to make themselves available for any medical studies. They intend to make a rather limited number of media appearances in the future, primarily just to appease the world’s curiosity and to reduce the number of people who might otherwise be taken aback by their novel body configuration.

They would prefer not to be stared at or photographed by strangers while going about their private lives. They expect to date, get married and have children.

  1. I just watched this video and thought it was awesome. They have lived not far from me their whole lives and now just hearing about them. That is awesome that they get to keep their lives private. Keep it up girls.

  2. God bless these girls. I went to a baseball game today and saw girls like this. I talked to them to say that I was very xcited that they looked healthy. Their mother said that they didn't think that the girls would make it past 1 year old. They are now seven years old and expected to live on. I wish Abby and Brittney the best life ever, they certainly deserve it! And to all of you that are making rude comments: cut it out. These girls are litterally living miricals. Just cut it out and see how amazing it is that they are alive and healthy.

  3. I had Two brothers They Were Born Conjoined at the Waist. They Both Died when they Were only four weeks old due to Massive organ failure. only one had a liver and had to supply for the other and the strain was huge. I think any Conjoined twins who survive are blessed and I hope they have good health.

  4. seriously! all these perverts need to STOP commenting! these are two wonderful girls who should be able to live private lives.if yall think leaving mean comments is cool, well, its NOT! May God bless these girls.

  5. I really enjoyed watching their documentary. They seemed like really lovely outgoing girls and the nature of their unique lives and shared identity is quite fascinating.

Enough with the nasty comments, you wouldn't like people gossiping about your private life and they certainly don't deserve it.

  6. SOOOOOO Fake. I know these 2 girls. They are 2 seperate girls but were each born with one leg. They have special clothes made. They call this their pairsuit.

  7. LOL! Gerard… Thats awful but funny!

I am looking forward to hearing more about the pair. Their story is amazing – But I also understand that they want to live a normal life. Hope the girls are both well.
