Virginia Mokgobo, 27, was arrested last November, on charges of assault, harassment, soliciting a minor to do indecent acts and verbal abuse.
Mokgobo was the ex dormitory matron of Oprah Winfrey’sgirls academy in South Africa. She pleaded not guilty on those charges.
The South African State prosecutor, Etienne Venter, said that Virginia Mokgobo’s lawyers are reserving her defense as she had pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Six minors from the school are expected to give their testimonies by video and the media will be allowed into the courtroom on Friday. Venter said that the children are presenting their accounts via video because they are afraid of being seen in public.
