Amy Winehouse was rushed to the emergency room Monday! Update: New details, at least she isn’t dead!
Update: Us Magazine is reporting that Amy Winehouse’s rep said, “Amy Winehouse suffered a reaction to medication at home this evening and was taken to the hospital,” her rep explained Monday. “Doctors have advised that she will be kept under observation overnight and is likely to be released tomorrow.”
A London Ambulance Service rep said: “She was taken unwell after an emergency call was received. There is no further comment to make on her health status. All I can tell you is that the patient is now in hospital being treated.”
Eyewitnesses saw Amy Winehouse being rushed to the emergency room today. Amy Winehouse was seen with police coming out of her flat in a wheelchair and covered with a blanket.
Troubled singer Amy Winehouse has been taken from her London flat to the accident and emergency ward of a London hospital.
The singer was seen being wheeled out of her north London home just after 8.40pm this evening by paramedics, as her father Mitch Winehouse watched.
Amy Winehouse was taken to the UCH accident and emergency center and admitted, confirmed her spokesperson.
A squad of police arrived as Amy was blocked by Remi Nicole and her father, as well as the paramedics who were in attendance, with only her bare feet exposed, as she sat slumped in the wheelchair.
After she was driven off by paramedics, a police van escorted the emergency vehicle to the London hospital where the singer was admitted tonight.
