Keira Knightley, the star of many movies, has been signed on to act in the remake of My Fair Lady. Keira, presently the biggest female name in British cinema, will play Eliza Doolittle in the musical.
The producers of the new film have yet to confirm who would be playing Henry Higgins but Daniel day-Lewis is supposed to get the role. The producers thought that he would be a great actor to play the lead as a stubborn chauvinist who fell in love with the poor flower seller.
Duncan Kenworthy, one of the producers, was in the process of getting a famous director to direct the new My Fair Lady.
