George Takei, the celebrity actor from Star Trek, has taken one step closer to marrying his gay partner of 21 years.
George, 71, was the first man to pay $70 for his marriage licence in West Hollywood. He applied on early Tuesday morning, June 17. The marriage licence is valid for 90 days.
George was victorious. He said that it was going to be a very special day and the only day in the history of America. He revealed that he would marry Brad Altman, 54, in September. Their wedding venue would be at the Japanese National Museum in LA.
