Amy Winehouse performs at the Glastonbury Festival, and gets into an altercation with a fan.
Amy Winehouse shocked the Glastonbury crowd when she lashed out at a fan in the front row.
Winehouse performed her song “Rehab”, coming down from the Pyramid Stage to the pit, and became involved in a scuffle with a person in the crowd.
Winehouse’s spokesperson said Amy was only defending herself when the audience member grabbed at her famous beehive.
Amy performed an hour-long set, and the singer spit out her chewing gum on stage and also criticized Jay-Z for not knowing his song lyrics.
She said:”Jay-Z’s got some front to come here with tunes you don’t even remember.”
Amy also couldn’t resist talking about her imprisoned hubby, Blake Fielder-Civil, saying “My husband is out of jail in two weeks”.
But despite the rambling banter between songs, Winehouse seemed in top form with her vocals.
There had been concerns the troubled artist would not make it to the festival after being admitted to the hospital on June 16th, after a fainting spell last week.
Amy left the private hospital in London after being diagnosed with early signs of the lung disease, emphysema.
The 24-year-old singer looked in good health, wearing a tight blue sequined dress and three cocktail umbrellas in her trademark beehive.
After her concert at the Festival, Winehouse joined Jay-Z’s wife, Beyonce Knowles, in the VIP section to watch him perform before heading back to the London hospital for more treatment.
