If you caught the MTV Movie Awards 2013 show last night, you saw “Parks and Recreation” star Aubrey Plaza rush up to the stage while Will Ferrell was accepting the Comic Genius Award.
Most of us thought it was a scripted incident, but Plaza actually was tossed out of the award’s show after the bizarre stunt. What was going on?
Will Ferrell appeared on Conan O’Brien’s show to promote his latest movie “The Campaign”, but also shared his devastation over Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s split.
Conan asked Will why he looked upset and he replied, “There’s this actress, Kristen Stewart. She had a boyfriend, Robert Pattinson .. and and she cheated on him.”
Ferrell pretended to cry as he continued, stating, “They’ve broken up and not gonna be back together. What they had was so special Conan you don’t even know what they had. They were in love and she just threw it all away.”
Conan tried to comfort the comedian, saying, “I’m sure it’s gonna be fine”. But Will was inconsolable, yelling, “It’s not gonna be fine. What they had was so special you don’t even know.”
The host tried to reason with Will, saying, “I’ve been in love,” but the actor said, “Not like them.” Will then yelled out, “She’s a Trampire!”.
There are quite a few cool things about being a celebrity. They receive tons of free stuff even though they are making gobs of money. Celebs also get to date people much more attractive than they would normally attract in “real life”.
But, there is a definite downside to being in the public eye, especially these days with social networking sites. People hide behind their computers making snide comments they probably wouldn’t be making if they were face-to-face with someone.
Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel did a little bit on his late night show with celebrities reading the mean tweets people have written about them.
A few of the stars reading the nasty tweets include Kristen Stewart, Katy Perry, James Van Der Beek, and Justin Bieber.
It certainly sounds as if the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, especially in Will Ferrell’s family!
The hilarious comedian revealed that his son Axel loves to tell people they have a “little penis”.
The “Campaign” actor says Axel, his third son with wife Viveca Paulin, is being encouraged by his older brothers Magnus, 8, and Mattias, 5, to insult strangers with his favorite joke.
Ferrell said he is trying to discourage the naughty behavior, but admits he finds it quite funny.
“Anchorman 2″ hasn’t even started filming yet, but have released a funny trailer for the movie.
It was less than two months ago that Will Ferrell announced they were finally making a sequel to the 2004 comedy on the Conan O’Brien’s show.
“Get ready to ride the Palamino stallion”, Ferrell states in character as the smug San Diego newsman.
Ferrell is joined by the other indispensable members of the KVWN team: Paul Rudd as arrogant field reporter Brian Fantana, David Koechner as the sportscaster Champion Champ Kind, and Steve Carell as the goofy weatherman Brick Tamland.
“It’s jean-creamin’ time,” Rudd states in the teaser trailer.
