British movie director Tony Scott has committed suicide. He was 68.
Scott jumped from the Vincent Thomas Bridge in Los Angeles yesterday, according to police.
The director had recently been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, according to new reports.
Scott was known for his action movies such as “Top Gun”, “Unstoppable”, “Beverly Hills Cop II”, and “Enemy of the State”.
Eyewitnesses saw Scott park his black Toyota Prius on the bridge, get out of the vehicle, and scale an eight foot fence and jump without hesitation.
Authorities looked inside the car and determined it belonged to the director and producer. A note with his contact information was inside the vehicle and a suicide note was later found in his office.read more
