Vanessa Paradis has hinted that there is a big secret behind her split with actor Johnny Depp, but she certainly isn’t going to reveal the true reason.

Paradis said “no-one knows the truth” about the real reason behind her split with the actor after 14 years and two children together.

The French actress claims the real reason behind the split has yet to be revealed. She explained, “Nowadays, people speculate, but nobody knows! I have my children to protect…There are children involved, so it’s really no one’s business but the family.”

She adds, “I don’t sell my private life, and nobody knows the truth or has done a proper journalist’s work on that situation”.

The singer-and-actress, who split from actor Johnny Depp after 14 years together, has moved on with a millionaire French businessman named Guy-David Gharbi that she met on a flight from Los Angeles to Paris in May.

An insider close to Depp and Paradis reveals, “The relationship coming to an end has been tough on both Johnny and Vanessa. What they care about more than anything is remaining a close family because their two kids are and always will be their main priority.

“But Vanessa and Guy-David have become close over the last few months and even though they are still taking things slowly, they are dating now. Guy-David’s made his feelings clear for Vanessa but told her he’s happy to give her all the time she needs.

“They’ve been going for quiet romantic dinners in Paris and just enjoying each other and having fun. It’s been a very healing thing for her.”

Paradis spoke with French Elle magazine as she promoted her movie “Cornouaille”, but stopped the interviewer from asking questions about her personal life.

The actress said, “I don’t want to talk about him (Depp). Who said that artists should sell their soul, expose everything about themselves?

“It’s my duty to promote this movie, and my albums, but can you imagine what it feels like to see people making a business out of your pain? What’s happened to us is our concern.”
