Madonna says she has now “forgiven” Sir Elton John for his rude comments during her recent concert.

Elton previously slammed Madonna’s music and fashion sense, calling her a “fairground stripper”.

The 54-year-old singer hit back in a very passive-aggressive fashion by dedicating her song “Masterpiece” to Elton while performing in Nice on Tuesday.

Madonna stated, “‘I know he’s a big fan of it. And I know he’s a big fan of mine. And you know? I forgive him. Gotta start somewhere”.

Of course, Madonna’s song choice was insulting.

Sir Elton John’s bass player, who has been performing with Elton John since 1992, has committed suicide.

The body of Robert Wayne Birch, 56, was discovered near his home on Wednesday morning.

Birch died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, but authorities have not yet located a suicide note.

LA County Assistant Coroner Chief Ed Winter said the case is “being investigated as a possible suicide.”

Robert always said he “couldn’t ask for a better gig” than working with Sir Elton John.

Sir Elton John has been hospitalized with a “serious respiratory infection.”

The singer was rushed to the Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles early Wednesday feeling ill.

Elton has had a battery of tests run and was told by physicians he cannot perform for a week, forcing him to cancel four shows in Las Vegas.

Elton’s doctors have put him on antibiotics and told him to rest.

John, 65, is reportedly now resting at home with his husband David Furnish and their 17-month-old son, Zachary.

Sir Elton John was forced to axe two shows in Las Vegas over the weekend after falling ill from food poisoning.

The singer was scheduled to perform at Caesar’s Palace on Friday evening, but became ill right before the show and was forced to cancel.

John also canceled his concert the following night and is now feeling much better.

The singer is scheduled to perform in Guadalajara, Mexico later this week.

Madonna and Sir Elton John got into a little war of words at the 69th annual Golden Globes show. John’s husband, David Furnish, even got into the action and called Madonna “embarrassing” and “desperate”.

Furnish was angry that his partner didn’t win the award for Best Original Song, losing out to Madonna for her song “Masterpiece” from her movie “W.E”. Elton John was up against the material girl with his song for the movie “Gnomeo and Juliet”.

David slammed Madonna on Facebook, even referring to her recent comments about Lady Gaga, writing, “Madonna. Best song???? F**k off!!!

“Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in it’s narcissism. And her criticism of Gaga shows how desperate she really is.(sic)”

Elton had bashed Madonna’s song on the red carpet at the award’s show, saying he didn’t think she could win.
