Former couple Katy Perry and her ex-husband Russell Brand were both spotted out at the Los Angeles Lakers/Dallas Mavericks game on Tuesday night in California.

Katy and Russell appeared a bit tense as they both tried to enjoy the game, knowing they could possibly bump right into one another.

Perry, 28, attended the game with her father Keith Hudson while Russell, 37, reportedly went solo.

Katy Perry, who is currently dating musician John Mayer, looked beautiful in a tight-fitting leopard print dress.

The singer looked a little nervous as she chewed on her nails while watching the game. Russell also appeared tense, distracting himself with his cellphone.

Perry finally had a beer and got into the game by cheering as she enjoyed a night out with her father.

Russell Brand is dating “Spice Girl” star Geri Halliwell.

The “Rock of Ages” star dumped his girlfriend Isabella Brewster after falling for Halliwell while they rehearsed together for the London Olympics Closing Ceremony.

Russell Brand stated, “I’ve got Spice Girls mania all over again now. It’s like going back to 1996. I’ve got a massive crush on Geri Halliwell too, so everything in the world was as it should be”.

Russell, 37, and Geri, 40, have been spotted on several dates together. Last weekend they were seen checking out the Hampton Court Palace, with Halliwell’s six-year-old daughter Bluebell.

British comedian Russell Brand, 36, was sentenced today for his misdemeanor criminal damage charge.

Brand turned himself in to New Orleans police in March after a $700 misdemeanor warrant was issued for his arrest.

Photographer Timothy Jackson was following Brand when the actor walked up to Jackson’s car, grabbed his cell phone and threw it through the window of a nearby law office.

But Russell got off lucky this morning and will not be thrown in the slammer for the iPhone incident, after making a deal with prosecutors early this morning.
