Nick and Vanessa Lachey have learned they are having a baby boy, due in September.

The couple, who tied the knot in June 2011, are “thrilled” to be having a baby boy.

Nick and Vanessa have been tossing around names but haven’t yet decided on one yet.

Vanessa admitted recently she was hoping for a boy to be a “mini” version of Nick.

She stated, “It’s going great, knock on wood! I’m feeling awesome and no morning sickness, no crazy cravings.

“I’ve always envisioned a little boy first. Maybe because when I fell in love with Nick – the man of my dreams and the father of my children – I could easily imagine falling in love with the mini-him; that’s how I see it”.

Jessica Simpson has sold the rights to the first photos of her newborn daughter to People for $800,000.

The singer, who welcomed daughter Maxwell Drew on May 1 with fiance Eric Johnson, made the deal with the publication to show off their precious bundle to the world.

People magazine are known for having securing huge deals with famous mothers and their babies. The magazine paid $6 million for photos of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s twins, Max and Emme, in 2008.

The publication also splashed out $11 million for photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s twins, Knox and Vivienne, just months later. Their proceeds went to charity.

Simpson is thrilled about being a mom and recently said of her bundle of joy, “I am so in love with baby Maxwell. I want to cry every time I look at her. Motherhood is by far the best thing I’ve ever experienced.”
