Elisha Cuthbert is getting married!

The “Girl Next Door” star has announced her engagement to hockey player Dion Phaneuf, 27, who she has dated since 2008.

Cuthbert tweeted., “Happily, happily, happily, happily engaged! This has been the most amazing weekend ever.”

The couple celebrated their engagement at the New Glasgow Lobster restaurant on Prince Edward Island, Canada.

The restaurant tweeted about Elisha Cuthbert’s engagement, writing, “Last night we had the privilege of hosting a surprise engagement party for Dion Phaneuf and Elisha Cuthbert. Congrats to them both.”

The restaurant added, “A nice surprise for all their guests. Congrats to them both and LOVE The Ring (sic)!”

Cuthbert and Phaneuf celebrated the occasion with around 40 friends and the actress enjoyed showing off her engagement ring.
