Beyonce Knowles is known for keeping her personal life out of the public eye, but decided to share family photos with her fans on Tumblr!

The singer posted a photo of her baby girl, Blue Ivy, wearing a t-shirt of her father Jay-Z’s Watch the Throne tour and pictures of herself and her family on vacation.

Knowles shared the photographs online after recording a special version of her song “I Was Here” at the UN in NYC.

The 30-year-old star told the audience, “I’d like to ask everyone to make sure they’re a part of August 19th. It’s such a beautiful, beautiful day, and I’d like to honor the 22 people who lost their lives. God bless you all. Thank you so much for having me.”

Beyonce Honors Whitney Houston During New Jersey Show (VIDEO)

Beyonce Knowles made her return to the stage for the first time since the birth of her daughter Blue Ivy in January.

The singer paid tribute to the late Whitney Houston, performing her hit song “I Will Always Love You”.

Beyonce took to the stage in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Friday night as she kicked off the first of four consecutive shows at the Revel resort.

Knowles performed her hits songs such as “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”, “Irreplaceable”, and “Halo”.

The singer told the crowd, “I gotta say, it feels so good to be back home on stage.”

Jay-Z watched his wife perform, later taking to twitter to write, “I’m gonna say this… Beyonce is the best performer in the world. Period.”

Beyonce and Jay-Z have reportedly chosen Oprah Winfrey to be the Godmother of their newborn daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.

The Hollywood couple named Oprah and Jay-Z’s good pal, Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith, as the Godparents for their 19-day-old daughter.

Insiders said the couple wanted to choose someone that wasn’t blood related to the child.

Oprah, who has no children of her own, sent a large trunk filled with books for Blue Ivy after her birth.

Beyonce Gives Birth To Baby Girl !

Singer Beyonce and husband Jay-Z have welcomed a baby girl by scheduled C-section at New York’s Lenox Hill Hospital on Saturday evening.

Baby Blue Ivy (or Ivy Blue depending on the source) is the first child for Beyonce, 30, and Jay-Z, 42, who married in April 2008.

Rihanna was one of the first of the star’s friends that tweeted her congratulations, writing, “Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih.”

Russell Simmons also tweeted, “Congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay Z,” while Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs added, “Congrats to Jay and B! God Bless… And many more!”

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow tweeted this morning, “Welcome to the world, Blue. We love you already.”

A “confused” fan asked if the baby’s name was “Ivy Blue or Blue Ivy,” and Gwyneth replied, “It’s Blue Ivy!’

GMA reports the couple chose the name “Ivy” because of the significance of the number “4” or “IV”.

Both Beyonce and Jay-Z were born on the fourth day of their birthday months and were married on April 4, 2008. Beyonce’s album is also titled “4”.

Sources claim that Beyonce and Jay-Z welcomed a daughter, Tiana May Carter, at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York.
