Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have filed a lawsuit to claim $2.5 million from a contractor in Idaho. The celebrity couple claimed that the contractor messed up the construction of their house in Sun Valley in 2002.

In 2003, Tom and Rita Hanks filed a lawsuit against the contractor and they lost their case. This would be their second attempt to sue their former contractor.

Tom Hanks’ representative, Leslee Dart, said that Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, desired to appeal the judge’s decision. The couple claimed that there were serious construction and design problems that occurred. The mistakes were blamed on the contractor and the problems needed fixing.

Meg Ryan attended a film soiree in New York on Monday night. She revealed that her latest look was turning her into a Leslie Ash lookalike. Leslie is a British actress. Both actresses shared the same age, being 47 and perhaps shared the same passion for collagen implants. It was a coincidence that they both shared similar looks.

Meg caught up with her former co-star in “Sleepless In Seattle”, Tom Hanks. They were at the function of the 23^rd Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony. The venue was at New York’s Waldorf Astoria hotel. They seemed to have plenty to chat about.

Meg has planned her comeback after a 3 year break from making movies. She would appear in “The Women.” This was a remake of George Cukor’s 1939 film of the same name. Meg would also make an appearance in “My Mom’s New Boyfriend.” Antonio Banderas also had a role in that comedy.

Since Oprah Winfrey was so nice as to promote Julia Roberts’ latest film, “Charlie Wilson’s War”, Julia was nice in return. She made Oprah the first person outside her camp to lay eyes on her youngest son, Henry. He was born in June, 2007 but has never been seen in public. Julia intended to make the show special by revealing to the live audience and the rest of the world, what Henry looks like.

The show has been taped. Tom Hanks, Julia’s co-star in the “Charlie Wilson’s War”, was given another surprise. Julia and Oprah told him that all three of Julia’s children were born at almost exactly the same time. Julia’s firstborn arrived at 1.21 am. Her second came at 1.22 am and her third at 1.23 am.

Tom was shocked but recovered enough to say, “I think Julia’s some kind of witch.”

This special episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show will air on Monday, November 19, 2007.

The fire was started when power supply lines collapsed due to windy weather and they ignited dry bush in the environment. The bush was dry fuel waiting for trouble and this fire went on a rampage over 1000 acres. Presently, over 500 firemen are deployed in this fire fighting. Strong winds blow ill favor. The fire is anticipated to burn on for several days, as the firemen battle unfavorable conditions. At press time, 200 homes have been evacuated and the fire watch continues in great tension.

Julia Roberts is a shining example of an actress who graduated in acting to become a top notch A-list actress. On Friday night, Julia was honored with the American Cinematheque Award at their 22nd benefit dinner in Beverly Hills.

Julia is good as a fellow compatriot of the Hollywood set. Her former and current co-stars present at the Award ceremony congratulated her heartily. Old timer, Tom Hanks, was gushing praises and rubbing on some celebrity glamour shine for himself. His quote has been carried to tabloids far and wide.
Julia humbly attributed her achievements to her old school era when the competition wasn’t that stiff and actresses could cultivate their careers slowly but surely.

Previous winners include Nicole Kidman, Sean Connery, Al Pacino and Steven Spielberg.
Julia’s previous award was for playing a legal advocate’s investigative reporter, “Erin Brockovich”. That film alone won her an Oscar AND a Golden Globe. Julia has come a long way since “pretty Woman”, “Steel Magnolias” and “Mystic Pizza”. Yay!
