Scarlett Johansson offered a date to the buyer of a movie premiere’s tickets. Her auction obtained about $40,000. There were around 170 bids. The winner’s offer was at nearly $40,000 and he would be attending “He’s Just Not That Into You” in LA or NY in July. The lucky guy who paid to get a dream date with Scarlett hailed from UK. He would get a chauffeured limousine and join Scarlett on the red carpet. Scarlett will also present a personal handwritten note to her guest.

Scarlett Johansson became the director for a shoot involving Kevin Bacon. Her debut into directing was for a film anthology named as “New York, I Love You.” This film would have 12 directors and they were supposed to collaborate together on this ambitious project.

Scarlett Johansson has started an auction on herself on ebay. She would allow one privileged, successful buyer to become her escort for the premiere of “He’s Just Not That Into You.” The money raised would benefit Oxfam America, a charity.

Scarlett Johansson, 23, overheard some snide remarks about her looks on the set of her latest movie, “The Other Boleyn Girl.” Some of the technicians were discussing about her appearance. Some of the crew laughed about her looks and said that she looked more like a grungy teenager.

A movie critic has said that “The Other Boleyn Girl” is a box office bomb. Scarlett Johansson seemed to think so as she was not eager to fly to London to promote her own film. The movie raised a few chuckles of disgust from the critic.

Natalie Portman, 26, and Scarlett Johansson, 23, were co-stars in “The Other Boleyn Girl” but their friendship seemed to have extended beyond. They were at the Berlin premiere of their movie when they took the time to share a romantic kiss. Natalie might have initiated the kiss to dispel her own fears of being a boring actress. She told the press that she thought of herself as being boring. Scarlett rushed to Natalie’s defence and said that she did not think that Natalie was boring.

- Dennis Quaid sues Heparin manufacturers.
Dennis Quaid and Kimberly Buffington had new born twins who were accidentally overdosed with Heparin, a blood thinner. The twins, Zoe Grace and Thomas Boone, were eventually saved.
- Scarlett Johansson sues Us Weekly.
The magazine ran an article that claimed Scarlett had cosmetic surgery done on her nose. It even listed quotes from the actress affirming her love for plastic surgery!
- Hydroderm sues Teri Hatcher.
Teri was under Hydroderm’s contract to endorse and use their beauty products. She was accused of using more than 17 beauty products from competitor companies. Teri is counter-suing to get payment for the contract in spite of what they claim against her.

Happy Birthday, Ryan Reynolds! Here’s a tooth for that extra biting edge.
Ryan Reynolds grew older on Tuesday as he met his 31st birthday. Scarlett Johannson and Ryan had a private birthday celebration at the Chateau Marmont hotel, L.A. She wanted to surprise him in privacy. If he screamed, nobody would know.
