Jon Favreau unveiled  “Iron Man 2″ footage at Comic-Con on Saturday that showed the the Iron Man, Robert Downey Jr., Mickey Rourke brandishing electric whips, and War Machine. But the character catching everyone’s eye is Scarlett Johansson in her black leather catsuit playing “Black Widow”. Read more and see video below.

Actress Scarlett Johansson was asked whose side the Black Widow was on. Scarlett stated, “I don’t know,” while saying she’s neither a superhero nor a supervillain. “I think you’ve just got to call me a super shape-shifter, I suppose.

“I’m kicking some major ass — so I would say ‘major’ is the amount of ass I kick,” laughed Johansson, who endured months of blood, sweat and egg-white omelettes to pull off the role and do all her own stunts.

“Whose ass do I kick?” she grinned, choosing her words carefully. “Well, you’re just going to have to wait and see. You don’t really want to know, do you?”

When asked about her favorite scene in the movie, Scarlett replied:

“Well, I have to say all my stunt sequences, because those are the ones I know best,” she reasoned. “I’ve got to fight for them. I’ve got to be my own cheerleader. So, all the Black Widow sequences, of course.”

Scarlett was also asked about her own superhero husband, Ryan Reynolds. Reynolds is playing the Green Lantern and Deadpool, and Johansson the Black Widow.

She was asked if there were any superhero rivalries going on at home?

“[Our characters are] living in two completely different universes,” she grinned, insisting that there won’t be a “Deadpool vs. Widow” movie any time soon. “Never the two shall meet, I would say.”

Sexy Ryan Reynolds has been cast as the “Green Lantern” in the Warner Brother’s movie. Read more on who Reynolds beat out to play this role below.

Ryan Reynolds, 32, beat out other Hollywood heartthrobs including Justin Timberlake and Bradley Cooper for the role of the “Green Lantern”, based off on the DC Comics super hero.

Reynolds has already signed on to reprise his role as Deadpool in a spinoff of 20th Century Fox’s “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” which was the second time he played a Marvel hero. Reynolds also had the role of Hannibal King, the vampire killer in “Blade: Trinity.”

“I’m such a huge fan of the character. I get to be the authentication police, in a weird way,” Reynolds told MTV News about the upcoming “Deadpool” movie.

Reynolds has also been considered for the lead role of another DC Comics, “The Flash.”

Green Lantern is the story of an intergalatic dude armed with a power ring. It will be directed by Martin Campbell.

Reynolds scored big at the box office lately with “The Proposal” in which he co-starred with Sandra Bullock. “The Proposal” reportedly took in over $100 million at the box office.

Actor Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson are reportedly planning to adopt. Read more of what Reynold’s said in his interview about his future plans below.

Ryan Reynolds was interview by British Glamour and said he would like to adopt a child, and that his brother was adopted.

“My oldest brother is adopted and I have every intention of adopting at some time,” Reynolds, 32, told the magazine. “I’m very grateful for having my brother in my life. I couldn’t be more pro-adoption. There are plenty of kids in the world that need it.”

Reynolds, who co-starred with Sandra Bullock in the romantic comedy “The Proposal”, thinks back to his family life in Vancouver.

“I learned how to take a punch from a very early age,” says the star, who is now known for his chiseled abs. “I was routinely pummeled into a fine cottage cheese.”

“I have my father’s face and body, but my mother’s unshakeable thirst for knowledge,” he says. “She works part-time jobs, but basically she’s been a student her whole life. She still goes to university and she’s in her 60s.”

Reynolds married actress Scarlett Johansson, 24, in an intimate ceremony at a Canadian wilderness retreat last year.

In the February issue of Harper’s Bazaar, the actress said she and Reynolds have no plans to start a family just yet.

Said Johansson (now shooting Iron Man 2), “I’m not pregnant nor will I be any time soon.”

During the Allure interview, the reporter asked Scarlett about Lindsay Lohan’s comments in the bathroom stall years ago.

“That’s what I heard,” Johansson told Allure. “I don’t know what the motivation was behind that. I remember it was something really vulgar — I mean, shockingly so, like, ‘Whoa, what, who are you?’”

Johansson says she had only met Lindsay Lohan a couple of times and barely knew her.

“I really don’t know that person. I only met her, like, three times,” the actress said.

During the interview, Scarlett also talks about Woody Allen, her new husband Ryan Reynolds and how she doesn’t talk much about her tattoo.

“It’s kind of personal,” the star says of her tattoo. “It’s a sunrise, and it makes me happy when I look at it.”

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynold’s were married in Canada in a small ceremony. The wedding took place at a remote wilderness resort outside Vancouver, British Columbia, her representative confirmed.

Wedding guests included Scarlett Johansson’s mother, Melanie Sloan, and her brother, Adrian Johansson.

Ryan Reynolds, 31, started dating Scarlett Johansson, 23, after his split from former-fiance Alanis Morissette. Makes you wonder if she’ll write a song about this… could be interesting!

Reynolds and Johansson became engaged in May after dating about a year.

Singer Alanis Morissette recently wished Ryan Reynold’s well on his engagement, saying the couple Reynolds and Johansson were meant to be together “spiritually”.

Morissette was with Ryan Reynolds for four years, said: “On a certain spiritual level, I feel like everyone’s where they need to be.”

This is the first marriage for both Johansson and Reynolds. The couple may start their family soon as Reynolds has already stated he wants children with Scarlett.

Reynolds said during the time of their engagement: “I do want a child at some point. I feel like I need to fulfill the genetic paradigm, the destiny of it all.”

Scarlett Johansson had always said she would keep her wedding private, and that they would not sell their wedding photos either.

Scarlett doesn’t care much huge lavish weddings, she said that “sounds awful.”

“Actually, I’m a private person, so, obviously, I’m pretty sure our wedding will be as private as possible.” And she did just that!

Scarlett Johansson criticized Hollywood’s treatment of older women. She told Hello magazine that she thought the movie industry was ageist in their refusal to use older women.

Scarlett Johansson, 23, is well aware that older actresses face a lack of suitable roles. Hollywood wanted sex symbols who are young. She had her opinion that women age like wine, becoming better as they grew more mature with age.

Meryl Streep, 59, had earlier spoken out against the bias on older women in Hollywood. She said older women were portrayed as grotesque in movies. Demi Moore, 45, had also said that scriptwriters had difficulty writing roles for her.

Travis is definitely a ladies’ man, so it is a big deal for him to be like, “This one is mine.” We are on the Warped Tour together. It’s nice to have interested makeout buddy.”

Travis McCoy was interviewed by People magazine and said, “We’re going to spend the whole summer together. She’s going to be on Warped Tour with us, she’s going to be performing. It’s going to be a good time.”

McCoy says, “She’s super hot, for one. But when I first heard the song, I was like this is going to be a smash. The next thing you know it’s No. 1 on itunes.

“I’m proud of her, she deserves it. She’s been in this business for the last six, seven years, and she’s finally getting a break. I’m excited for her.”

Travis McCoy talks about the diamond ring he bought Katie saying, but it’s a “promise ring,” he points out. She wears it on her left middle finger “and I have one too!” He gushed. His is a silver band that says ‘Katy’ on it.”

Fans of Scarlett, 23, would remember that she and her new fiancé, Canadian Ryan Reynolds, 31, began dating only in March 2007. Ryan had broken off his engagement to Alanis Morissette one month before.

Scarlett’s representative, Marcel Panseau, confirmed her engagement but declined to specify when it happened. She said that the couple had not set a wedding date yet. Scarlett was seen at the Monique Lhuillier boutique in LA looking at wedding gowns recently in February. However, she denied that she was getting married.

The friend told that Scarlett was too focused on her career to get married. She would be filming 3 movies in sequence this year. In fact, Scarlett has to travel to Scotland to make her next movie, “Mary, Queen of Scots.”
