Amy Winehouse attended the first court hearing of her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil. She was supported by Pete Doherty and her father, Mitch Winehouse.

The charge against Blake is a serious one of conspiracy with a witness. Blake had assaulted a bar man with grievous bodily harm and the case might be heard in court on Monday. In U.K., a conviction for the perversion of justice might carry a life sentence in prison.

Amy has pledged her support to Blake. Her mother-in-law, Georgette Civil, has said that Amy was upset and teary eyed.

Mitch Winehouse has also confirmed that both sets of parents will provide their children with all their support.

Britney Spears’ friends protected her from knowing that she made Maxim’s list for the top 5 unsexiest women. However, they had to tell Britney the truth when she wanted to gate crash Maxim’s party for the launch of a video game. Her camp did not want Britney to feel insulted if people approached her and discussed about this sensitive subject.

A source said that Britney almost broke down in tears when she was told the news. Apparently, Britney had a good opinion of Maxim because of her past experiences working for the magazine. She thought that Maxim loved her. She wanted to ask for an apology from Maxim.

Kate Moss has sold her home that she once shared with her ex-boyfriend, Babyshambles’ singer, Pete Doherty. While the movers were busy shifting her possessions, Kate spent the time with her current boyfriend, Jamie Hince. They were accompanied by drag queen, Jodie Harsh, 23.

Jodie performs regularly in London’s night club scenes. He is also a co-host on a DJ program with Kate Moss’ ex-boyfriend, Jefferson Hack. Hack is the father of Kate Moss’ daughter, Lila Grace.

The press were at hand to note that while Kate has some of the world’s most iconic fashion pieces, she did not wear them. Harper Bazaar’s list of ten Best Dressed Women has placed Kate Moss at the bottom of their list.

This list of unsexiest women was done using a yardstick. These women were faulted for their actions more than their looks. In other words, being a pain in the neck is unsexy.

It is a tradition for PEOPLE magazine to name the sexiest man alive annually. Esquire magazine would be naming the sexiest woman alive. For this year, Esquire has already chosen Charlize Theron to wear the crown.

Pete Doherty was released on August 21 without being charged with breaching his bail conditions after authorities failed to get him to court on time. Doherty, who has been undergoing court-ordered rehabilitation treatment, was arrested in east London on suspicion of possessing drugs, according to British police. The Babyshambles frontman allegedly flashed a V sign for “victory” upon his release.

The singer was apprehended for suspected drug use after a concert at about 2:30 a.m. Monday, when the car he was riding in was pulled over. The incident occurred shortly after Doherty and Babyshambles played the V Festival in central England.

In July, Doherty pleaded guilty to a pair of drunken-driving charges and possession of crack cocaine, heroin, cannabis and ketamine, stemming a May 5 arrest. Earlier this month, the presiding judge, Davinder Lachlar, issued an ultimatum ordering Doherty to clean up his act or risk serious jail time. He has to face Lachlar for a hearing on September. 4th.

We’re betting Doherty’s ex, Kate Moss, is thankful she’s seperated from this train-wreck rebel rocker. He has a long history of drug abuse and legal troubles - and it doesn’t look like he’s planning on changing his partying ways anytime soon.
