Hollywood P.R. man, Robert Smith “wrote” The Nicole Richie Cookbook. It is a 60 page recipe book filled with Richie’s all time favorite recipes to brave the kitchen.

The book is empty. Nicole Richie’s recipes comprise nothing except eating air.

You can use this as a notebook to fill in with your real recipes or place it in a prominent position in your kitchen to remind you that eating nothing is the most effective kick ass weight loss program.

Richie might be less inclined to throw up her food since she has said she would gain weight for the sake junior. Some gossip sites have cast doubts on the fatherhood of the babe by calling the unborn, baby Richie, not baby Madden, the surname of her boyfriend singer from Good Charlotte. Nah, slip of the tongue and typing fingers.

Richie was photographed leaving her private gym in Nemo, West Hollywood, on Friday. She remains as obsessed over her weight even in her 5^th month of pregnancy.

The media has been buzzing with news about Linday Lohan’s lucky plea bargain which will likely result in only one to four days in jail while Nicole Richie caught her own lucky break at Lynwood Correctinal Facility.

The official website of the L.A. Sheriff’s Department reported that the reality star showed up at Lynwood to serve her four day jail sentence but was released one hour later due to over-crowding. Richie was arrested last December for driving the wrong way on an L.A freeway while under the influence. She was given one day of credit for the six hours she spent behind bars following her arrest.

Meanwhile, Nicole’s dad, singer Lionel Ritchie, has purchased a two-bedroom town home in Los Angeles’ Century City area from actor Dennis Franz that had been listed for $1,395,000. He allegedly bought the property as a surprise for Nicole and her rocker boyfriend, Joel Madden, who are expecting their first child.

Features in the 2,274-square-foot town home include two and a half baths, a master bedroom suite with a sitting area and a walk-in closet, a living room with a fireplace, a three-car garage, and a formal dining room, according to listing information.

Nicole Ritchie probably won’t be too surprised when her boyfriend pops the question since he announced today on national television his proposal plans. Joel Madden appeared on Live! With Regis and Kelly with his band Good Charlotte.

Regis slyly coaxed the confesson out of Madden and then quickly changed the subject. Regis, you tricky devil. The talk show veteran just has a way of getting the scoop.

Ritchie is four and a half months pregnant with her first child. The father-to-be also revealed during his appearance that he’s been reading books to prepare for the birth of his child with the sometimes scandalous socialite.

Nicole Richie pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs and was sentenced to serve four days in her choice of city or county jail. She was credited the fifth day for the six hours she served after being arrested. Nicole was also fined $2,048 and ordered to complete a 21 day alcohol education course, and to serve  three years of probation.

I guess this is the cool thing to do these days, all of the glamorous Celebrity girls are getting DUI’s!
