Naomi Campbell is going help out in the charity named White Ribbon Alliance. This charity campaigns for safe pregnancy and childbirth in the developing nations. Every minute, a child or a mother dies in childbirth or pregnancy.

Campbell as been doing the final arrangements for Fashion for Relief/White Ribbon Alliance event in the London Fashion Week marquee, at the Natural History Museum.

Critics claimed she was doing charity work to redeem her image after her fracas in a British Airways plane. Campbell clarified that it was untrue. She said she had been involved in charity work since Nelson Mandela was released from jail. Campbell promised that she would continue her charity work even after that one event with Fashion for Relief.

Naomi Campbell refused to pay for some damaged bed sheets in a hotel in Moscow. The bill was around $400.

Naomi Campbell went to Moscow on a private jet. It landed at a top security airport. She enjoyed the most expensive drink at her hotel’s bar and was entertained by a lavish dinner that cost $2400.

Campbell stayed at the Ritz Carlton when she visited her boyfriend Vladislav Doronin. She used the presidential suite, which cost $20,000 per night.

The hotel cleaners discovered holes burnt into the suite’s silk sheets. They were caused by candles or cigarettes. Campbell was asked to pay for the damage but she refused. She said that it should be covered by the room charges.

Campbell’s spokesperson has denied the hotel’s allegation on the damages.

Naomi Campbell has been dating her Brazilian boyfriend again. This time, Marcus Elias and Naomi were dating in Capri, Italy.

They went out partying on Tuesday night and were walking out when Naomi stumbled and fell. Someone went to her aid before she hit the ground.

Naomi, 38, has been in the news for other reasons too. She had to attend a court trial for her air rage incident in 2007. On her personal life, she revealed that she had undergone surgery to improve her chances of a successful fertility. She said she would like to have a baby. Her agent said that her operation was successful but did not reveal the details.

Naomi Campbell appeared at the premiere of La Fille Du Regiment at the Metropolitan Opera in NY on Tuesday night, April 22. It was one of her first public appearances after her fiasco at Heathrow Airport that landed her in jail.

Supermodel Naomi may be missing more than just her luggage. Naomi’s crown of hair appeared to be receding. Some black stubble replaced what was the start of her hairline. She had used hair extensions and it was characteristic for them to break after some wear and tear. When the extensions detached, they took the owner’s natural hair along with them.

Other celebrities who wore hair extensions were also seen to suffer from similar problems. Paris Hilton and Britney Spears had patches of baldness in their scalps as a result of hair extension and natural hair falling away.

The good news for Naomi’s fans would be that she has been confirmed to appear in Ugly Betty’s finale. The final episode of season 2 would enjoy having her in a guest appearance.

Naomi Campbell fell victim to the luggage chaos at Heathrow’s Terminal 5. She was on a plane and had an angry argument with the plane’s cabin crew about her missing bag.

Trouble at Terminal Five, Heathrow.

Police were summoned to assist and the supermodel was dragged off the plane in handcuffs. Naomi threw a fit when she was told that a hand luggage which contained her clothes for her TV appearance in a show in LA was missing. She started swearing at staff. She got down from the plane and when she could not do anything about her situation, she boarded it again and continued her tirade. It was then that the crew decided to call for the police.

Naomi Campbell was in London and she could have the best medical treatment money could buy. Yet, she chose to fly to Brazil for an emergency operation. It was to remove a cyst at Sao Paulo’s Sirio Libanes Hospital.

Naomi loves Brazil. She visits the country often. It was rumored that she had a new boyfriend, Marcus Elias, a businessman, in Brazil.

Naomi’s doctors refused to comment on the exact nature of her operation. One doctor said that she was completely cured after her operation. The official press release was that she had  laparoscopy surgery on her stomach for the removal of a cyst. However, the newspaper found out that one specialist dealt with infections. If you put two and two together, her operation may also have something to do with an infection.  That’s all folks.

Naomi Campbell lent her superstar celebrity glamour to the opening of Rio de Janeiro’s Carnival. This year is the 200^th anniversary of the arrival of the Portuguese Royal family in Brazil. There was a Sao Clemente samba group with 4200 members. They had floats decorated to show the Portuguese cultural heritage.

Naomi decided to party in a smaller city called Salvador da Bahia, instead of Rio de Janeiro. One reason maybe that it was less commercialized in the smaller city. Quincy Jones was also present with Naomi. It was less crowded and the street revelers could get up closer to the parade.
