Hank Williams, aka “Bocephus”, a nickname he received from his legendary father, Hank Williams Sr., has tons of hit songs that include, “Family Tradition,” “Country Boy Can Survive” and “All My Rowdy Friends Have Settled Down.” Even if you are not a huge fan of country music, this dude is “the man”.

Hank Williams Jr. has had six albums go platinum, and 20 that went gold. Hank Williams Jr. is a musician that crosses over easily into different styles of music, even pairing up with Kid Rock.

Williams, 59, reached an even wider audience with the “Monday Night Football” theme, which he wrote and performed.

Williams Jr. followed in the footsteps of his father Hank Sr., who was a leading pioneer of honky-tonk music. Williams Jr.’s son Hank III is also a successful country singer.

BMI, Broadcast Music Inc., a performing rights organization, will hold its annual country awards Nov. 11 in Nashville.

Kid Rock is in UK. He had a concert scheduled for UK’s Download Festival on Friday, June 13. He had to cancel it in the last hour because of his delicate health conditions.

The organizers of the Download Festival tried to put humor into their press release. They said they had the curse of the Download. They had sent Kid Rock to hospital and apologized to their fans for canceling his concert.

Kid Rock was well on the day before the incident. He had been out socializing at Central London’s Whisky Mist nightclub. The press has learnt that his cause of trouble was dehydration and stomach cramps. His representative has not issued any official statement on his condition.

Kid Rock was arrested in Atlanta in the morning of Oct 21. Kid Rock and 5 of his entourage that were with him were all arrested and taken into custody after a fight in the parking lot outside Waffle House, DeKalb County, Atlanta. Now we know why he wears shades all the time; eye bags!

Robert Ritchie, aka Kid Rock, went back into the Waffle House at 5.15 am on Oct 21, after he had performed there on the previous evening, on Oct 20. A customer recognized a woman in Kid’s entourage and he and Kid fought over her.

This customer was unfortunate to be charged with 1 felony count of second degree criminal damage to property because he smashed an expensive window. In Georgia, any property damage that is above $500 constitutes a felony charge. Kid got off on a minor charge of simple battery.

The drama that started at 5.15 am eventually simmered down when Kid posted bond at 5 pm. As he was walking out of jail, some fans approached him and he obliged by signing autographs. Cool. That is all in a day’s work for Kid Rock.

Las Vegas entertainer, Jeff Beacher, is offering rockers Tommy Lee and Kid Rock the chance to settle their differences in a boxing ring at Beacher’s Madhouse for a $1 million purse. Rapper/actor LL Cool J has, according to The New York Daily News, even offered to put up the cash prize for the bout. Cool J says, “I’m not sure who’d win in a fight between Tommy Lee and Kid Rock. You know what we should do? Let’s pay-per-view the thing, and I’ll even front the money.”

Beacher says about the proposed rematch, “We all know that they are fighting over Pam Anderson. What better way to settle their differences then to slug it out in the ring?!” The Vegas showman claims he’s already spoken to a couple of the odds makers in Vegas who are naming Kid Rock as the favorite to win the battle because “Tommy Lee is just too old and beat up.”

Despite being at the center of the disagreement between Kid Rock and Tommy Lee, her ex-husbands, Pamela has went on record saying, “I’m staying out of it.”

“I actually left before the fight. As soon as I left, meow! They went after each other.”

Pamela Anderson made an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show this week and confided in the funny lady details about her new romance with an unnamed professional poker player. “It’s so romantic. It’s romance. I was playing poker one night in my room and I was down about $250,000. He said if I made out with him I could clear the … thing. And I ended up paying off my poker debt. And then I fell in love and now we’re engaged.” We hate to point out the obvious, but isn’t trading sexual favors to pay off your debts or for cash kind of like prostitution?

Some sources are speculating that the unidentified poker player is Rick Soloman who is the guy who “leaked” the Paris Hilton sex tape titled “One Night In Paris” which reportedly netted him six million dollars.

Detroit rap-rocker Kid Rock slammed Britney Spear’s parenting skills at the MTV Video Music Awards before his slugfest with Tommy Lee. During an interview with the Jimmy Kimmel Live show at the Las Vegas awards show, Kid Rock was handed a bundled doll and asked if he’d babysit Britney’s youngest child. Kid pretended to drop the baby and tried to bottle feed the doll the beer he was carrying.

Kid is a single father himself. His son, Robert James Ritchie Jr. was born in 1993. Rock fathered his son with Kelly South, a Detroit auto worker. While Kid Rock is dissing Britney’s parenting, he might want to take into consideration that he probably isn’t setting the best example for his own child by busting Tommy Lee in the chops at the VMAs.

Tommy Lee is using his official website to explain his version of the Sunday night MTV Video Music Award fight between himself and Kid Rock and to issue an apology to performer Alicia Keys. The brawl broke out during Keys rendition of George Michael’s Freedom.

Tommy says, “I would like to apologize to Alicia and George and MTV for the disrespectful bulls–t caused by a piece of s–t called Kid Pebble!! I apologize sweetie…..I had nothing to do with the timing and disrespect.”

Tommy contends on his website that he was amicable to Kid, embracing him with a “semi hug” and say “Hey dude…What up”?? when the rocker approached the table he was sitting at with Diddy. Tommy then acknowledges that Rock bitch slapped him before he was hauled away by Palms security guards.

Kid Rock has yet to release a statement about the altercation.

It’s no secret that Tommy Lee, Motley Crue drummer and the father of Pamela Anderson’s two children, and Pam’s ex-hubby Kid Rock have little love for each other. The bad blood between the two rockers apparently boiled over at the MTV VMA’s last night. An altercation occurred during a performance by Alicia Keys. Details about what started the brawl are unclear but Jamie Foxx and Diddy, who was slated to present an award with Rock, both commented during the show on the fight between Tommy and Kid.

MTV.com reports that Rock was cited for misdemeanor battery for his assault on Lee. Rock was not detained or taken into police custody but was issued a summons. He’ll need to return to Vegas for a future court date, and if convicted, he faces a $500 fine and up to six months behind bars.

Eyewitnesses claim that Kid Rock landed a backhand and a punch before Tommy Lee was able to retaliate. Security threw chairs out of their way to get to Lee to restrain him and escort him out of the Pearl Theater in the Palms Casino Resort.

This isn’t the first time Kid Rock has went after Pam Anderson’s other ex. On New Year’s Eve. less than two months after the Baywatch beauty filed divorce from Rock, Kid kicked down the door to what he believed to be the drummer’s room at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Kid Rock mistakenly broke into the wrong room and found a very surprised family behind the door.
