Kanye West and his mother, Dr. Donda West, had shared only one solo TV appearance together. It was on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in May, 2007. The discussion was on “Raising Kanye”. This video is here.

Dr. Donda West was an educator for 31 years. Her last job in education was with the Chicago State University. She had stayed with them for 24 years before she retired. She then became Kanye’s Manager.

The autopsy of Dr. Donda is being conducted by the L.A. County Coroner. There is a long wait of 6-8 weeks for the results of the toxicology reports.

There have been many reports about Dr. Jan Adams, the plastic surgeon who performed surgery on Dr. Donda West, Kanye West’s mother.

The source had unearthed lawsuits against Dr. Adams. Some of the patients who sued for malpractice include Terrie Cage, Bonita Hovey and Jana Beighle. Some of the claims against Dr. Adams are about non-disclosure of his history of medical malpractice claims and judgments and false assertion about credentials.

Dr. Adams once hosted a TV show called “The Other Half”. It was about the patients’ post-surgery recoveries. He claimed that nothing would go wrong immediately after surgery but any problems would show up after some time, like after some weeks. This was kind of eerie to read. Dr. Donda West died the next day after her surgery.

Dr. Jan Adams has come forward to confess that he was the plastic surgeon who did the surgery for Dr. Donda West, Kanye West’s mother. He said that Dr. Donda’s death was a surprise. It could have been caused by a heart attack, massive vomiting or pulmonary embolism.

Dr. Adams gave the exclusive interview to TMZ. He said that his patient had consulted him over along period of four months. He said that she was the one who was hesitant over her surgery.

Another plastic surgeon, Dr. Andre Aboolian, had earlier said that Dr. Donda had a medical condition that made surgery very risky. Now, Dr. Adams has denied this. Dr. Adams said that Dr. Aboolian was “sleazy and manipulating the truth to elevate his own importance.”

Kanye West’s mother, Dr. Donda West, 58, has passed away early this Sunday. Kanye was away in London when this happened. He is expected to return to the U.S. to attend to her funeral rites.

Dr. Donda West was a great teacher. She held an important position as the Chair of the English Department at Chicago State University. She retired and then helped Kanye as his manager. She was also the CEO of West Brands, LLC. She was also a key person in the Kanye West Foundation. This foundation helps high school students to stay focused in school.

Kanye West, Grammy award winning producer/rapper has beaten his nemesis 50 Cent to the top of the charts in one of the most hyped musical battles of the year.

The pair went head-to-head last week when their respective albums were released on the same day — but West’s third offering Graduation has taken the coveted number one position on the U.S. Billboard charts.

Graduation has sold almost one million copies since its release on September 11, making it the best debut of the year so far. 50 Cent posted sales of 691,000 for his third album Curtis, landing the rapper in second place.

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, threatened to retire if he failed to beat West’s album sales. We’ll see if the rapper 50 Cent follows through with his threat now that it’s obvious he’s been taken out by Kanye West. His recently issued statement doesn’t mention his future career plans: “I am very excited to have participated in one of the biggest album release weeks in the last two years. Collectively, we have sold hundreds of thousands of units in our debut week. This marks a great moment for hip hop music, one that will go down in history.”

Topping the list for most desired female was Jessica Alba who stars in the upcoming comedy flick Good Luck Chuck. This isn’t really much of a surprise. The sex kitten was voted In 2006 No. 1 by the readers of Askmen.com on their list of 99 Most Desirable Women, No. 2 in 2007 in Maxim Magazine’s roundup of their Top 100, and the winner of FHM’s 2007 Sexiest Woman in the World.

Jennifer Aniston, Queen Latifah, Jessica Simpson, tennis beauty Maria Sharapova, Sandra Oh and Top Chef vixen Padma Lakshmi were also top picks in the female category.

Hottie George Clooney garnered the most votes on the male list. Matthew McConaughey came in as a close second. Other stars who find themselves the object of desire by female singles were hip hop performer Kanye West, Latin singer Ricky Martin, baseball star Derek Jeter and tennis pro Andy Roddick.

Susan Mernit, Yahoo! Personals’ online dating expert, points out that part of the appeal of Clooney and Alba apart from their stunning physical appearances, could be that they have both managed to avoid scandals and maintain “a clean reputation” while living in front of the press.
