“Pirates of the Caribbean” star Johnny Depp has revealed in the January issue of “Esquire” magazine that the late legendary actor Marlon Brandon once personally called Depp to reprimand him for sharing details about his personal life during a television interview. When Depp tried to defend his reasons for talking about what a proud father he was publicly, Brandon retorted, ‘You don’t do it, man. That’s your world and it’s nobody else’s business. It’s not anybody’s entertainment.’

Who could argue with Brando, The Godfather? Depp acknowledges in the interview that Brando was right. Marlon Brando co-starred with Johnny Depp in “Don Juan De Marco” in 1995. He was quoted as believing that Depp is the greatest actor of his generation.

Johnny Depp obviously hasn’t allowed his superstardom to affect his generosity and kindness. The Sweeney Todd actor, 44, has been voted for the third year in a row by Autograph magazine as the most gracious celebrity on their annual list of the “10 Best and 10 Worst Hollywood Signers.”

“Though soft-spoken and laid-back, he likes to talk to fans and get to know them while signing,” New York autograph dealer Anthony Risi explains in the December issue, now on newsstands. “He’ll sign more than one item when he has time, too.”

Johnny Depp is not only gorgeous and an amazing actor - he’s obviously a generous and supportive boyfriend. Depp has given his long-time partner Vanessa Paradis a vineyard to congratulate her for her months of hard work recording a new album. Paradis’ 2000 album “Bliss,” a French chart topper, was dedicated to Depp and their daughter.

The 44-year-old purchased the vineyard near the villa in Plan de la Tour, France, which he shares with the singer and their two children Lily-Rose, eight, and Jack, five. The actor also owns a 45-acre island in the Bahamas, where he frequently vacations.

Depp has been with the French beauty for nearly 10 years, but insists he has no plans to marry again after his two-year marriage to musician Lori Anne Allison ended in divorce in 1985.

The bee, Barry B. Benson, (Jerry Seinfeld), finds a savior in Vanessa (Renee Zellweger). However, he is dismayed to learn that humans steal honey from bees. He decides to take matters into his own hands.

3) Darfur Now.

Six human rights activists tell their stories about genocide in Darfur. This is a documentary.

Johnny Depp, who just recently wrapped production on two big movies, Sweeney Todd and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, may be biting into a new role. The actor’s production company Infinitum-Nihil and GK Films have just obtained the rights to and are currently developing a script for the film rendition of Dark Shadows.

Dark Shadows was a tremendously popular Gothic soap opera of the 60’s and 70’s that featured the supernatural elements of vampires, ghosts, werewolves, and zombies. The program still enjoys a cult following with annual conventions and fansites on the Internet.

Depp has said that he imagined playing the role of vampire Barnabas Collins as a child. There’s little doubt that the talented actor can make this memorable character his own with his flair for the dramatic.
