Bond girl Gemma Arterton, 22, was born with six fingers on each hand. Arterton still has small lumps on the side of her hands left from the childhood surgery to remove the extra fingers. But it doesn’t bother Gemma Arterton, she is proud of her oddity which makes her different.
The new Bond girl, Gemma Arterton, has been offered a new role in BBC’s series on Thomas Hardy’s famous book, Tess of the d’Urbervilles. Gemma had her lucky star and the Quantum Of Solace to thank.
Gemma Arterton, 21, would be playing as “Fields”, in the latest Bond movie tentatively called Bond 22. The movie was scheduled for release in November. The plot was a secret but there was speculation that it might be a continuation of Casino Royale. The story might contain elements from Ian Fleming’s story called “Risico.” This was about Bond being sent to penetrate a drug ring that was distributing drugs in Britain.
The producers of the Bond movies had a tradition of casting unknown actresses for playing the good or bad women in the bond films. Gemma Arterton might rise into international stardom after her Bond movie debuts.
