Hollywood celebrities who cared about their scriptwriters have stood behind the picket line with placards. Eva Longoria was one of them. She explained that her crew faced a terrible holiday season because of this on-going strike. Eva affirmed that she would support the strike because she hoped for a resolution soon.
The entire studio crew faced hardship with mortgages and other financial difficulties with low pay. Although the strike immediately affected their finances, it was for the negotiation of a better future.
Some actors and actresses have organized their own collections for the crew who are badly affected by this strike.
Hayden Panattiere had some thoughts for the paparazzi who were camping outside her front door. She ordered Dominos pizza for them. The press hailed her as a hero.Hayden actually gave them a story to write about even though she stayed in for the night and there was nothing for the paparazzi to get excited over.
In a separate incident, Eva Longoria ordered Dominos pizza to the hungry writers who were picketing outside ABC Studios. Eva was there to finish shooting the last few scenes for “Desperate Housewives”. Due to the strike, production will cease temporarily. It is a great way to show moral and physical support for the strike.
Do you enjoy Dominos Pizza too?
Please join us in our contest here. The closing date is Nov. 30.
Eva Longoria, is the latest victim of the Pass-the-Sex-Tape internet rumor scandal. Instead of some quick profiteering, the goose (or gander) who has the golden egg is checking to see how to play the winning card right.
Eva Longoria and new hubby NBA star Tony Parker are back to work after a low-key honeymoon in the Carribean. The couple were married in a civil ceremony in Paris July 6, followed the next day by an elaborate church wedding.
Langoria, 32, and her new husband, Parker, 25, say they have a rule in which they refuse to let more than two weeks pass without seeing each other – no matter where they are in the world. Eva’s hit show Desperate Housewives keeps her in L.A. while Tony’s homebase is in San Antonio, Texas with his Spurs team.
Newlywed Eva told People Magazine recently that she and Tony “would love to have kids.” The Housewives star says the couple will teach them all three languages they collectively speak – English, Spanish and French.
Directly after Eva Longoria and Tony Parkers’ July wedding, Eva has to travel back to LA to start shooting more episodes of Desperate Housewives. I sort of feel bad for her that she cannot have a nice honeymoon with her husband but then when your making 6 figures per show who cares!
”Eva Longoria will not have a honeymoon after her July wedding because she has to hurry back to work.
The ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress is due to wed Tony Parker in Paris on July 7 – and Eva is expected back on set two days later.
Eva told US People magazine: ‘I’m heading home right after the wedding. We start shooting July 9.”
