Kanye West and his mother, Dr. Donda West, had shared only one solo TV appearance together. It was on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in May, 2007. The discussion was on “Raising Kanye”. This video is here.

Ellen DeGeneres will include a tribute to Dr. Donda West in her Wednesday’s show. Please check your local TV listings.

Dr. Donda West was an educator for 31 years. Her last job in education was with the Chicago State University. She had stayed with them for 24 years before she retired. She then became Kanye’s Manager.

The autopsy of Dr. Donda is being conducted by the L.A. County Coroner. There is a long wait of 6-8 weeks for the results of the toxicology reports.

The Writers Guild of America has expressed their disappointment with Ellen DeGeneres. She has crossed the picket line and worked instead of staying on strike with the writers. Some of Ellen’s peers who were regular hosts of comedy shows have remained supporting the writers.

The writers stressed that Ellen had performed comedy on her show. Since she had substituted her own work for the comedy that was usually written by writers, Ellen was doing “stuck work”. Ellen was said to have violated the strike rules.

Oprah Winfrey is another talk show host who has carried on her TV show in spite of the writers’ strike. We had posted about Ellen DeGeneres‘ decision to continue her TV show here.

George Osmond, the father and patriarch of the Osmond family, passed away at the age of 90 on Tuesday, November 6, 2007. His family of nine children, fifty-five grandchildren and forty-eight great-grandchildren has honored one of his last wishes. They traveled to Chicago to film an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show. This episode is titled, “Oprah & The Osmonds”.

On the show, Marie Osmond told Oprah how much her father, George, loved his family and wanted them to be on Oprah’s show.

Donny Osmond talked to Oprah too. He praised his parents for raising them in show business and helping all of them to remain united as one big family.

Ellen DeGeneres and a few other syndicated program hosts have decided to press on with taping new episodes of their shows. Fans will not be disappointed with The View, The Oprah Winfrey Show and Regis & Kelly.

Ellen DeGeneres started her show without her usual monologue written by a writer. Ellen explained her decision to continue taping despite the on-going writers’ strike. She said that this was an important time in TV to show the best.

Ellen affirmed her love for her writers but said that she carried on her show because of her fans who had traveled the distance to attend the taping.

Ellen DeGeneres has gotten over the Iffy dog scandal. She’s back in the studios. One notable guest was Victoria Beckham. Posh Spice shocked some people when she appeared on the set in sneakers. She left her trademark, towering platforms at home.

Ellen asked Posh questions on:

1) Making friends in Hollywood.

Victoria said that Eva Longoria showed her around Hollywood.

2) How the three Beckham boys cope.

The boys do their own thing like attending school.

3) Plans for motherhood and a daughter.

Posh said that she has a world tour and can’t risk a pregnancy now.

Tit for tat.

This is what happens when someone tried to wage an unfair war against an animal shelter just because her ego was bruised. The closet has been opened for public scrutiny and all the dirty laundry and skeletons will tumble out.

A witness has thrown in more evidence to cite against Ellen DeGeneres. Kerri Randles, a producer from L.A., said that she gifted Ellen with a dog named Stormy 2 years ago. Ellen re-routed Stormy to another home less than 2 months with him.

Kerri said that Ellen behaved oddly where Stormy was concerned. She loved the attention Stormy brought her backstage. Ellen insisted that Kerri give her farewell speech to Stormy before she would take him into her home. She was neurotic about the dog accepting her and fitting into her home. This is normal for new mutt owners but it seems Ellen has repeated this way too many times and people are getting tired of the unofficial Ellen DeGeneres Mute Mutt Reality Show.

Howard Stern is another TV personality who testifies that other witnesses have told him about Ellen’s propensity to distribute canines.

Ellen has temporarily cancelled her TV show because she wants to prove her point that she is genuinely upset over this big hullaboo.

There is a rumor that the animal shelter people have retaliated by neutering the dog.

Laura Dern claims she was snubbed by producers after kissing Ellen DeGeneres in a landmark television event.

Ten years after they kissed on the “Ellen” show, Ellen DeGeneres and Laura Dern reunited Monday on DeGeneres’ syndicated talk show to reflect back on the smooch and its aftermath.
DeGeneres, 49, made pop-culture history in 1997 by coming out of the closet in real life while her sitcom character did likewise. In her character’s coming-out episode, Dern shared a smooch with the comedian during a guest stint on the ABC series as a lesbian love interest.
Dern, 40, recounted Monday how she couldn’t get an acting job for more than a year afterward. “There was certainly backlash, I guess, (that) we all felt from it,” she told DeGeneres, who said she was sorry and “had no idea” that Dern was snubbed in Hollywood.
