Helen Phillips won the “Biggest Loser” 2009 and earned $250,000 for her hard work. Helen Phillips entered the competition at age 47 weighing 257 pounds. And Helen’s final weight? 117 pounds! Phillips lost a total of 140 pounds, and 54.47 percent of her body fat!

Helen is the mother of three, and said she fell into the fast food routine. Phillips entered the “Biggest Loser” with her daughter Shanon, who went from 283 to 191 pounds, a loss of 92 pounds or 32.51 percent weight loss.

Jerry Hayes, 64, was eliminated from the show but continued his diet and exercise. Hayes went from 369 to 192 pounds, a loss of 177 pounds, or 47.97 percent weight loss.

Lindsay Lohan has become way too skinny recently, and raises questions on her health. A new report alleges Lohan is abusing Adderall. Read more on this story below.

Lindsay denies dieting rumors and says she has “been eating enough.”  But Lohan was seen on vacation in Hawaii last week looking like skin and bones.

Lindsay does admit that her breakup with Samantha Ronson has contributed to “a hard month,” but she denies having an eating disorder.

But now Us Weekly is reporting that Lindsay Lohan takes Adderall, a prescription drug typically given to people for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

“She takes Adderall all the time,” said a source. “She gets jittery because of the way the pills affect her. It’s a major reason why she’s losing weight.”

Star Jones talks to Oprah about her weight struggles. Jones says doctors warned her she would die if she didn’t drop weight from her onetime 307-pound frame. Read more on Star Jones on Oprah below.

Star Jones finally talks about her battles with her weight and her gastric bypass surgery.

“I was an addict for all practical purposes, that I had never stuck to a real diet, that I’d never stuck to a real exercise program,” the former View cohost says in an episode of The Oprah Winfrey.

“The doctor said, ‘If you don’t make changes, you will die.’ I had no choice,” Jones continued.

Jones, 47, is still a bit sensitive about the criticism on her decision to undergo gastric bypass surgery – that helped her drop 160 pounds in 2003.

“When you hear people say, ‘Oh, you took the easy way out….’ I would have longed for an easy way. It was not an easy way. It was…the hardest struggle of my whole entire life and I still struggle,” Jones said.

Even though she’s kept the weight off, Jones admitted: “I’m still 300 pounds in my head some days.”

“I was ashamed…That’s the word that is actually the real word. I was ashamed that I couldn’t control my weight, that I was an addict for all practical purposes, that I had never stuck to a real diet, that I had never stuck to a real exercise program” Jones told Oprah.

Valerie Bertinelli donned a tiny bikini for the April 6 cover of People magazine, where she showed off her hard work… losing almost 50 pounds!

“It has been almost 30 years since Valerie last wore a bikini in public so this was a big deal,” People Senior Editor Galina Espinoza told Access Hollywood.

Valerie began nine months ago starting at 172 pounds at 5′4″.

“On Jenny Craig, she did lose 40 pounds to get down to 132 but for this bikini shoot she went even lower,” Galina explained. “Workout wise, she amped things up.”

Bertinelli lost another nine pounds by loweringher 1,700 calorie per day diet to 1,200 calories. She also cut out salt and hit the gym for one hour, four to five times per week. Valerie believes a combination of cardio and strength training minimized her “jiggly bits,” as she called them.

“It’s a much healthier relationship I have with food,” Valerie previously told Access. “I appreciate it. It’s more about nourishing my body than just soothing my discomfort.”

Valerie Bertinelli will show her bikini photos next Wednesday on Oprah.

But after whittling herself down to 132 lbs. in about 9 months on Jenny Craig (for whom she serves as a company spokeswoman), Bertinelli, who had last worn a bikini when she was 20, was ready for a new challenge.

Oprah Winfrey talks about her weight struggle in the January issue of “O” Magazine.  Oprah says she is embarrassed she has “fallen off the wagon” of healthy living and has gained to over 200 pounds. Read more on Oprah’s weight gain below.

In January’s “O” magazine, Winfrey, 54, details her recent struggles with an out-of-balance thyroid and how the condition made her develop “a fear of working out.” She says she’s gained 40 pounds since 2006, when she weighed 160.

“I look at my thinner self and think, `How did I let this happen again?’” the talk-show queen says in the article provided early to The Associated Press by Harpo Productions.

“I’m embarrassed,” she says. “I’m mad at myself.”

Winfrey’s weight and height put her body mass index at 31.8, which is obese, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Winfrey says she’s not even trying anymore to be thin, she just wants to be strong, healthy and fit. She hopes to get started with her upcoming “Best Life Week,” starting Jan. 5 with an episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” during which she is expected to talk candidly about her weight.

Winfrey famously wheeled a wagon loaded with fat onto the set of her talk show in 1988 to represent a 67-pound weight losswhile wearing a pair of size 10 Calvin Klein jeans. She had lost the weight with a liquid protein diet.

“When it comes to maintaining my health I didn’t just fall off the wagon. I let the wagon fall on me,” the chairwoman of Harpo Inc. writes. “I didn’t follow my own fundamental rule of taking care of self first.”

In 2005, Winfrey said she starved herself for four months to lose weight. Ever since, her weight has yo-yoed. She weighed as much as 237 pounds and by late 1990 acknowledged she had regained most of the 67 pounds, saying “I’ll never diet again.”

In 1994, she finished the Marine Corps Marathon and by 1996 hired personal trainer Bob Greene, saying her roller-coaster weight saga was over.

But now, Winfrey finds herself tipping the scales again, telling AP Television last week that she has yet to choose a gown for President-elect Barack Obama’s inaugural ball next month.

“I had a dress on the vision board, but I’m not sure that’s gonna fit,” Winfrey said. “So I have to work on something else.”

Carnie Wilson has lost 50 pounds, and spoke to OK Magazine to document every step of her weight loss. Read more about Carnie Wilson below.

Carnie Wilson started her diet and exercise program this past Spring and has already lose nearly 50 pounds! Carnie revealed to OK Magazine that she had truly hit “rock bottom” with her weight, and had weighed 208 pounds.

Wilson had gastric bypass surgery back in the late 90’s and went from weighing 300 pounds to only 146. But over the years, Carnie slipped back into her old eating habits. Currently Carnie is 160 pounds and is very determined to keep the weight off this time.

Carnie plans to have a second child with her husband Rob Bonfiglio so it may be tough during her pregnancy. This baby will be joining her 3 year-old daughter, Lola.

OK!: Congratulations on reaching your goal. How does it feel?

It feels spectacular! I’m so proud. I was determined to get my body to a healthy weight to prepare for the rest of my life and also for a baby. When I put my mind to something, I can do it. Some days I’ll wake up and be like, “I’m not there yet” and there will be a little voice that says, “But you’ve come so far.” If I get caught up in self-loathing, I stop it quickly and look on the bright side.

OK!: Do you feel super confident now?

I have a bounce in my walk. It’s not that I feel sexier; I just feel more proud. I think when you feel proud about something you do, you radiate that positive energy and that is sexy. That is confidence.

OK!: Do you have any cheat foods?

I bake cheesecake for other people and taste it and spit it out. Every six or seven weeks, I have a tiny bit of dark chocolate and I actually will say, “You can swallow this. You deserve to taste something that you love.” My saviors are baby carrots, hummus, natural peanut butter, baked yams and almond butter sweetened with agave.”

OK!: What’s going on in your career?

I have a book coming out next year and a clothing line for women of size – really fashionable and affordable. Wilson Phillips is touring; we’re trying to work on a reunion album for our 20-year reunion in 2010. I’m thrilled!

Britney Spears has really made a comeback when it comes to her body. Spears has changed over the past year so much, for the better.

Britney recently revealed her new diet. Spears says she has cut all sugar out of her diet. Including her favorite coffee beverages!

Spears recently told OK Magazine, “Frappuccinos, gone. I still do drink coffee, but just with Equal”. Britney also says she is now, “healthiest I’ve been all my life.”

“My diet has a lot to do with my getting into shape. I have no sugar. I don’t eat fruit or even fruit juice because of the sugar. I eat chicken and salmon and rice. I eat avocados. I’ll have egg whites for breakfast and sometimes turkey burgers for lunch. I try to do just 1,200 calories a day. It may sound like it’s not much, but it’s actually a lot of food if you eat the right things,” she tells the magazine.

Not only has Britney Spears changed her diet, she’s also continued her workout routine. Brit Brit says she’s doing, “lots of cardio and weights” five days a week.

Spears has recently shown off her new trimmer figure in her bikini, on the beach of Cabo San Lucas.

Britney appeared in the recent MTV Video Music awards promos with Russell Brand, appearing relaxed and happy. There have been rumors buzzing that Spears might perform at this year’s Video Music Awards, but so far this has not been confirmed.

Britney Spears is nominated for best female and best pop video.

Rachel Hunter has hit out of critics of her ‘fat’ Celebrity Circus picture, insisting ‘I don’t look like that’.

The New Zealand model’s fuller figure has been attracting quite a bit of attention over the last few weeks, after she bulked up while appearing on reality TV show Celebrity Circus.

An unflattering image of Hunter in her circus outfit prompted speculation she had gained a lot of weight and critics had described her as ‘chunky’ and ‘bloated’.

An angry Hunter said: ‘I don’t give a s**t. If people say that, then they can deal with the consequences because they look stupid.

‘It (the circus photo) was taken days ago and unless I’ve done something drastic I really don’t think I look like that. That’s their problem. They’ve totally misconstrued exactly how I am.’

When asked about her dress size or weight, Hunter said: ‘ I don’t know. I really don’t care.’

Hunter recently complained that she had put on weight in muscle when she learned trapeze and other circus skills on the reality show.

She was voted off the U.S. show, Celebrity Circus, in its fifth week recently.

Despite coming up 10th in a list of the all-time top 10 Celebrity Playboy Bunnies, Rachel believes her look is now dated. “It was such a different time when we were modeling,” she says. “It was a different time then and it’s a different time now.” It’s obvious the size 0 fad leaves Hunter angry.

“How many years can this go on?” she asks. “People should let the whole size-zero thing go, there’s only so much that can be said. It’s been talked about now for five years.

“Work it out – if you’re going to faint, eat some food!” So does she think women today have an unhealthy obsession with their weight? “I don’t know, I think everyone tries to find the perfect thing,” she says. “You figure out what suits you and what your body reacts to.

There’s no miracle here. It’s all about trial and error. Ultimately it’s everything in moderation.” Sharon Osbourne recently hit out at a comedian who called her daughter Kelly fat. Is Rachel keen to shield her daughter Renee from public scrutiny? “I just think it’s disgusting when people bring kids into it,” she says. “It’s just mean. I think Kelly is awesome.

Although Rachel Hunter has put on weight the past couple of years, she is still a beautiful woman. And you have to respect her for being comfortable with herself, and being a good role model to other women.

Angelina Jolie gave instructions to her staff on her choice of menu and diet. She is determined to return to her svelte figure and she started following a strict diet during her pregnancy.

This was revealed when Jolie booked into the Lenval clinic/ hospital in advance and gave the staff a list of her dietary requirements. She required organic food and a diet with plenty of Omega-3.

For breakfast, Jolie requested for organic salmon with tomatoes, brown bread and herbs. Lunch and dinner are mackerel or grilled fresh tuna with watercress, spinach and tomatoes. Snacks are almonds or hazelnuts with apple and honey.

The source said that Jolie will continue with this diet until she has recovered from childbirth and gotten back in shape.

Pretty soon, the Brangelina twins, Vivienne Marcheline & Knox Leon, will be shown to the world in magazine pictures.

Jennifer Hudson has a new album out, and appears really thin on the album cover. Did Jennifer Hudson have a sudden weight loss or is the cover photoshopped?

Jennifer Hudson is showing a side of herself no one has seen before. On the cover of her new album, she actually has a waist and a svelte figure! So is it real, or is it photoshop? One tabloid insists that Hudson did not have the photo retouched to improve her figure as Mariah Carey did for her latest album.

So has Jennifer Hudson come a long way from her character, Effie White from “Dreamgirls?” Well, not so sure! Hudson was one of the celebrities who turned out to show her support at an aids benefit in London on July 9 where she was photographed on the red carpet. And, she doesn’t look any where near as thin as on her album cover.

In the red carpet photos Hudson barely looks different from her Dreamgirls movie role and looks like she’s wearing a size ten. Hudson looks great full-figured and curvy we think!

So either Hudson went on a crash diet to slim down quickly, or perhaps photoshop helped Hudson look much more slim and svelte on her new album cover. So what do you guys think?
