Brad Pitt has a new housing project in New Orleans’s Ninth Ward. He intends to build at least 150 houses to help the unfortunate homeless. Angelina Jolie and Maddox are pictured at this site. In the meantime, pink colored tents are erected to mark the sites where the future houses will be. There are no reasons for the color pink being used. One possible reason may be attributed to the artistic aesthetics the pink color contributes to the environment.
Brad said that he has donated his efforts because his family loved the city of New Orleans. The Jolie-Pitt family has donated about $5 million so far. Brad has appealed to the other celebrities to donate too. The projected cost to build one house is about $150,000. Can you believe that all this was Maddox’s idea?

U.K.’s Ten O’Clock News host Fiona Bruce will exchange her office attire for a skimpy costume when she performs for Children In Need. This is a fundraising event.
Fiona Bruce cracked a joke when she said that the costumes for events grew smaller every year. It was speculated that Fiona might have to wear revealing costumes next year because her news program will face a bitter competition from another similar news program in 2008.
Fiona will be singing and dancing as a character, Velma Kelly, from the musical, “Chicago”. Her item will be broadcast in BBC’s “Children In Need”, on BBC1, on next Friday, 7 pm. Donations are directed to bbc.co.uk/pudsey. For callers, the line is (U.K.) 0845 733 2233.
