Catherine Zeta-Jones’ paternal grandmother passed away last week in the UK. Catherine flew back to attend her funeral service.

Catherine Zeta Jones attended the opening of Elizabeth Arden’s new store on Fifth Avenue, in New York. She was dressed beautifully in a cocktail dress with diamante necklace halter and similarly decorated stilettos. It looked like the serpent ornament was chiefly responsible for holding up her tube dress.
Catherine, 38, was Elizabeth Arden’s representative for its cosmetics range. She was honored at this function as the VIP guest who had to cut the ribbon to launch the store. Catherine had so much faith in Elizabeth Arden that she had bought stocks in the company. She also revealed that she had given up her sex symbol image and would not be stripping for any roles any longer.

Catherine Zeta-Jones, 38, flew to Wales, UK, to visit her paternal grandmother Zeta. The grand occasion was Zeta’s 91st birthday in Swansea. Catherine’s husband, Michael Douglas, 62, and their two children, Dylan, 7, and Carys, 4, did not accompany her. They stayed behind at home in Bermuda.

Catherine Zeta Jones’ latest movie is “Death Defying Acts.” It is a biopic, set in the 1920s and the focus is on Harry Houdini, the magician-escape artiste. She acted as the psychic who fell in love with Houdini. The greatest magician was played by Guy Pearce.

Catherine Zeta-Jones wears diamonds to promote Di Modolo, a high end jewelry store in New York. It is a pity she does not get to keep them but she already has another type of diamond in store; Double Oscar winner, Michael Douglas. Catherine’s last shown movie was “Ocean 13″.
