Anna Nicole Smith Diaries Failed to Sell at Auction!

Posted on April 15, 2007

Two diaries written by Anna Nicole Smith in the early 1990s failed to sell at an auction this weekend. Howard K. Stern’s claim that they were stolen is said to be the cause.

They are now available for a minimum bid of $25,000 each, an the auction house said Sunday. Good luck buddy!
There were at least two bidders on the diaries, but both pulled out of the auction that ended Saturday. Among their concerns were allegations by Smith’s lawyer-turned-partner, Howard K. Stern, that the diaries had been stolen and should be returned to her estate, Norwine said.
Norwine said he had vetted the history of the journals and believed they were legitimately obtained by a celebrity memorabilia dealer in Los Angeles before going up for sale on eBay.
The diaries from 1992 and 1994 cover a range of topics, from Smith’s love of octogenarian oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II to [...]

IT’S ON!! Howard Stern is Suing Virgie Arthur!

Posted on April 14, 2007

Although no custody issues were hammered out Friday in the Bahamas, Howard K. Stern used the downtime to justifiably go after Virgie Arthur, Anna Nicole Smith’s mother.
Stern filed a federal slander lawsuit against attorney John O’Quinn, who represents Smith’s estranged mother, Virgie Arthur, accusing him of suggesting to reporters that Stern was responsible for Smith’s death.
According to court documents filed Friday in U.S. District Court in West Palm Beach and obtained by the Associated Press, O’Quinn appeared on several national TV shows to discuss the case in the days leading up to the medical examiner’s announcement of what killed Smith.
In an interview with Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren, O’Quinn said that Arthur believed that Stern had murdered her daughter. He also implied on MSNBC that Stern was a little to eager to get a glimpse at Smith’s will in the days leading up to her death, the lawsuit [...]

Howard Stern Claims Anna Nicole Smith Diaries Were Stolen

Posted on April 13, 2007

An auction planned for Saturday of two diaries written by Anna Nicole Smith in the early 1990s will go on despite a claim by her lawyer-turned-partner, Howard K. Stern, that they’re stolen property.
Stern wants the diaries returned to her estate.

In a letter to Doug Norwine, the director of music and entertainment memorabilia at Heritage Auction Galleries of Dallas, an attorney for Stern wrote that the diaries were stolen and therefore belong to him.
“On behalf of the estate, Mr. Stern hereby requests that the diaries be returned to him immediately,” the attorney, L. Lin Wood, wrote in the letter Wednesday.
The auction house obtained the journals, as well as a $16,954.66 receipt from a Bloomingdale’s shopping spree in 1992, a signed bank check from Smith and her 1994 Texas photo ID card, from an anonymous German businessman who purchased the items on eBay for more than $500,000 several weeks ago.
Norwine said he [...]

Anna Nicole’s Sister is - Well… Just Like Mommy

Posted on April 11, 2007

For the most part, I’ve felt a great deal of sorrow for Anna Nicole Smith these past several months. Especially with how horribly she’s been disrespected by everyone she trusted, especially from the very people she should be able to trust. Now we find her sister, who’s in the ranks of mother, Virgie Arthur.
Anna Nicole’s sister Donna Hogan - same white-blond hair, industrial- strength eye and lip makeup, ample bosom, low-cut top, but drinking only Sprite - said:
“It pisses me off when people say I’m making money off her. I was offered fortunes to tell on her. I was there when she did liposuction in the ’90s. I have pictures of her lipo. Even though I needed money bad, I never sold her out.”
So, OK, so Donna, hon, so then why “Train Wreck,” your new book about and against Anna?
“Because I was hurt. Because it’s closure for [...]

No Shocker: Larry Birkhead the Father of Dannielynn!

Posted on April 10, 2007

DNA tests show Anna Nicole Smith ’s former boyfriend Larry Birkhead is the father of her baby, and he emerged from a court hearing Tuesday to proclaim that his daughter would soon be home.
Birkhead jubilantly announced the DNA results after the closed hearing, and then hugged his rival, Howard K. Stern. The reality TV star’s lawyer-turned-companion has been caring for baby Dannielynn since Smith’s sudden death in February.
Stern said he would not fight for custody.
“I’m obviously very disappointed but my feelings toward Dannielynn have not changed,” Stern said, adding Birkhead can come to his Bahamas home to visit Dannielynn at any time.
A joyous Birkhead said, “My baby’s going to be coming home pretty soon.”
Even Smith’s mother, Virgie Arthur, who had also sought custody, seemed appeased by the DNA results. “I’m happy that Dannielynn will know who her real father is,” she said outside court.
An [...]
