It looks like American Idol’s Adam Lambert and Drake LaBry are now over. Read about their amicable split below!

The American Idol runner-up, Adam Lambert, 27, and interior designer,Drake LaBry, 24, have ended their relationship.

“They’re still friends, and it’s totally mutual,” a source revealed to US Magazine. “They will still talk and see each other.”

The friend also said there was no drama in the split.

“Adam is crazy busy right now getting the album done and squeezing in rehearsals,” the source tells Us, referring to Lambert’s debut album, For Your Entertainment, out Nov. 23. “They both felt this moment is too important for Adam to focus on anything else but getting this album out and having it be a huge hit.”

Adam Lambert came out of the closet officially in June through his Rolling Stone interview saying, ” I don’t think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I’m gay,” he said at that time.

Around the same time of openly revealing he was gay, Lambert and LaBry were photographed holding hands and getting “very flirtatious” at the West Hollywood club Guys and Dolls.

Ryan Seacrest’s stalker, Chidi Uzomah, has been arrested at the E! studio with a knife on him!  Read more on Seacrest’s stalker below.

Police sources say the man arrested today at the E! building is Chidi Uzomah, the same crazy guy that attacked Ryan’s security guard last month outside an Orange County hospital.

A source inside the building said Uzomah had a knife on him today and is being detained by LAPD.

Chidi Uzomah went into the lobby and asked to see Ryan Seacrest. The guard recognized  Uzomah and called police.

Chidi Benjamin Uzomah, who is 6′4″ and 200 lbs pleaded guilty last month in the O.C. hospital incident to three misdemeanors. Uzomah was given three years probation and ordered to stay away from Seacrest.

Ryan Seacrest was in the building at the time Uzomah was there.

Officers have removed Uzomah from the location and taken him in for questioning by the Threat Management Unit.

American Idol judge, Simon Cowell, is giving back and working with a children’s hospice spending time with sick children because he doesn’t have children of his own. Read more on Simon Cowell’s involvement in the charity below.

Simon Cowell has always said he was “too selfish” to start his own family but has now become a part of Chase children’s hospice in Surrey, England because he enjoys spending time with the kids there.

Cowell admits he prefers talking with the children because he finds them more honest than adults.

He says, “The directness of these remarkable children is like a breath of fresh air. I often get a good grilling, although I find it a lot easier to talk to children than adults. If truth be told, I’m maybe just a big kid myself. Over the years I have grown incredibly close to some of the children, probably because I don’t have kids of my own.”

But Cowell says he has been emotionally affected by the tragic stories of the ill children.

He adds, “One little girl, a total sweetheart, was always winding me up by insisting we would be married one day. Sadly she recently died. It was terrible and confusing moment to learn that someone so young had passed away.”

Cowell is also urging U.K. politicians to provide more institutions to care for sick children: “The lack of government support is frustrating – and by becoming patron of Children Hospices U.K. I hope to bring pressure to bear at the very highest level. And I’m pretty good at persuading people.”

Kimberly Johnston is nine-years-older than singer David Cook and he freaked out after losing fans over his secret relationship with the model.

Johnston says she received a text message from the American Idol winner star saying, “Dude, I’m losing fans over this!”

“David changed my life in so many good ways,” Kim, 35, told Star magazine in her interview. “But I also can’t forget my feeling of abandonment, when I was being slammed left and right. I’ve never had a man treat me as if he was ashamed to be associated with me!”

Kimberly Johnston and David, 26, became friends through MySpace in August 2008. They later met at David’s hotel in New York City and Kim stayed overnight. “People will draw their own conclusions, so let them,” she tells Star. The couple grew close over a year’s time and saw each other as often as their busy schedules would allow.

But their romance became public this past August after a New York newspaper ran the story. Shortly after, says Kim, “There was a big change in David’s attitude!” And it wasn’t long before he dumped Kim.

“I know David is a good person,” says Kim. “I hope he gets to the point where pleasing his fans doesn’t affect his happiness!”

Is it just us or does Kimberly Johnston look very similar to Lindsay Lohan?

Former American Idol Contestant Justin Guarini married Reina Capodici this weekend. Read more on Justin Guarini’s wedding details below.

Justin and Reina grew up in Doylestown and they dated in high school. They recently re-connected and realized they were meant for each other.

Reina Capodici has a four year old daughter, Lola, from a prior relationship.

“I’ve traveled all over the world but I found the woman I love right in my own backyard,” Justin, 30, told RadarOnline.com.

“I’ve known Reina since I was 15 but we didn’t actually start dating until two years ago.

“Her mother was my English teacher in junior high school!”

Justin said he and Reina have written their own vows for the “spiritual” service.

“A female minister of the Universal Church will be presiding over the ceremony and Reina and I have picked out what we want to say,” said Justin.

“For instance, we’ll have some readings from Khlail Gibran on love.

“We’re blending a lot of different traditions because my bride-to-be is Syrian and Italian and I’m black and Italian.”

“There will be a little something for everyone,” Justin laughed.

“I’ll not only be exchanging vows with my wife, but our little girl, Lola, as well!”

Recently, Justin covered the Emmy Awards as a host for the TV Guide Channel.

He’s also been doing a sketch comedy show for sketchedouttv.com and later this winter Justin plans to write and record his third CD.

The man who attacked Ryan Seacrest’s security guard who tried to keep him from getting into the car with the American Idol host has been sentenced to 15 days in jail and three years probation. Read more on Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr’s sentencing below.

Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr., 25, of Lakewood was sentenced on Friday after pleading guilty in Orange County Superior Court to three misdemeanors which included assault, battery and possession of a switchblade knife.

The man was ordered to stay away from Seacrest.

Seacrest was signing autographs Tuesday afternoon after leaving Children’s Hospital of Orange County. One of those “fans” who received his signature was Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr., 25, said Sgt. Dan Adams of the Orange Police Department.

As Seacrest got into his car, Uzomah allegedly tried to enter the vehicle but was stopped by security guards. Seacrest took off as a scuffle broke out between the suspect and the guards, Adams said.

“Ryan pulled away as the thing started,” Adams said. “He wasn’t involved and didn’t see anything.”

The suspect allegedly choked one of the guards, who had nearly became unconscious.

It was unclear why the suspect allegedly tried to get into the vehicle. “We still don’t know a motive,” Adams said. “He didn’t really give us any.”

Ellen DeGeneres will join American Idol as their fourth judge alongside Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi. Read more on American Idol’s newest judge below!

Ellen DeGeneres will be replacing Paula Abdul who did not have her contract renewed for 2010. Simon Cowell recently went on the Early Show and said he misses Abdul on American Idol.  But maybe funny-lady Ellen DeGeneres will fill that void!

“I’m thrilled to be the new judge on American Idol,” Ms. DeGeneres said in a statement. “I’ve watched since the beginning, and I’ve always been a huge fan. So getting this job is a dream come true, and think of all the money I’ll save from not having to text in my vote.”

On Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show to air on Thursday, Ellen says she won’t abandon her talk show but will have  “a day job and a night job.”

“The times we’re living in,” she quipped, “we’re all doing that.”

“Hopefully, I’m the people’s point of view because I’m just like you,” DeGeneres said on her show. “I sit at home and I watch it, and I don’t have that technical … I’m not looking at it in a critical way from the producer’s mind. I’m looking at it as a person who is going to buy the music and is going to relate to that person.”

Ellen also added, “I’m thrilled to be the new judge on American Idol. I’ve watched since the beginning, and I’ve always been a huge fan. So getting this job is a dream come true, and think of all the money I’ll save from not having to text in my vote.”

Actress and singer Jennifer Hudson has given birth to a son! Read more on Jennifer Hudson and David Otunga’s baby boy below!

Hudson, 27, gave birth to her first child named David Daniel Otunga, Jr. on Monday. The baby boy weighed 7 lbs and 14 ounces.  He is named after Jennifer’s fiance, David Otunga.

“The baby is beautiful and perfect,” says Hudson’s publicist Lisa Kasteler. “His parents are ecstatic.”

Hudson,the  Grammy award-winning singer, had not even confirmed her pregnancy before announcing his birth.

Jennifer Hudson was hit by tragedy last year when her mother, brother and nephew were murdered in Chicago by her sister’s estranged husband.

Hudson, who gained fame first as a top contender on “American Idol,” won an Academy Award for best supporting actress for her portrayal of Effie in “Dreamgirls” in 2007. Earlier this year, she won a Grammy for best R&B album for her self-titled debut CD.

Paula Abdul confirmed on Tuesday the she will no longer be a judge on American Idol.  But why did Paula Abdul quit American Idol? Read more below.

There has been speculation for the past few months on whether Paula Abdul would return to American Idol. But Abdul confirmed that her days on American Idol are finished.

“With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to Idol,” Abdul, 47, writes on her Twitter page. “I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day one become an international phenomenon.”

She adds: “What I want to say most, is how much I appreciate the undying support and enormous love that you have showered upon me. I do, without any doubt, have the BEST fans in the entire world and I love you all.”

Paula Abdul did not give a reason for quitting American Idol, just two days before she was to return to work. Abdul’s rep would not comment, but just confirmed she was leaving.

“Paula Abdul has been an important part of the American Idol family over the last eight seasons and we are saddened that she has decided not to return to the show,” FOX TV says in a statement. “While Paula will not be continuing with us, she’s a tremendous talent and we wish her the best.”

Just recently, Paula’s manager angrily said there was no contract on the table and that “sadly” it didn’t appear Abdul would be returning.

This brings it back to three judges with Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson joined by Kara DioGuardi.

Former American Idol contestant called the “Glitter Girl”, Alexis Cohen, 25, who became known for her animated rant, was struck by a car and killed, the Associated Press reports. Read more on Alexis Cohen’s death and see her rant from American Idol below.

Alexis  Cohen, 25, was found dead Saturday around 4am in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

Two pedestrians found her body in the street and called the police.

An autopsy has indicated that Alexis Cohen suffered chest, head and abdominal injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run driver.

Alexis Cohen auditioned in Philadelphia for American Idol in August 2007, and and then again in the eighth season of the show.

Alexis Cohen’s angry rant after not making the cut on AI became an internet sensation. Cohen is seen flipping Simon off and giving him a piece of her mind.
