Marv Albert, the long-time NBA announcer for TNT, was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live and the musical guest that night was rapper 50 Cent. Marv Albert nearly found himself in a scuffle with 50 Cent’s bodyguards. Read more on Marv Albert and 50 Cent’s beef below.

Marv Albert arrived with his PR guy Jeff Pomeroy and there was reportedly a scuffle with 50 Cent’s bodyguards who were not familiar with Albert. A Kimmel show guard yelled out, “It’s Marv Albert” but this didn’t seem to phase 50 Cent’s entourage. There were reportedly curse words yelled and even a few punches.

Marv Albert made it to his dressing room but was thinking wtf?  “Did you see that?” Albert said. “I thought they were kidding, but then I realized they weren’t.”

Kimmel said Albert’s appearance was at his request. “I’ve been a fan of Marv’s for a long time,” the late-night host said. “I appreciate great broadcasters who are distinctive. I like somebody who brings a real personality to the job but in a professional way. Your job is to call games, not tell jokes, not make yourself a personality. I think Marv is great.”

Don’t mess with 50 Cent you guys!

Shaniqua Tompkins and 50 Cent met in court. The judge in the Long Island court granted 50 Cent unlimited visit rights from August 3 – 12 with Marquise, his son. Marquise’s mother is Shaniqua Tompkins.

Both 50 Cent and Shaniqua Tompkins had to submit to drug tests at the courthouse before the judge would rule on their case on visitation rights. 50 Cent tested negative for drugs. Shaniqua tested positive for cough medication.

Shaniqua claimed in court that 50 Cent had posted guards at the site of the house that burned down. She said that the guards had blocked her access to her Land Rover SUV. 50 Cent had denied her claims. The case was adjourned to September 15.

Shaniqua Tompkins’ lawyer would be requesting a Manhattan judge to reject Brett Kimmel as 50 Cent’s counsel because she claimed that there was a conflict of interest. 50 Cent seemed to disagree.

50 Cent’s ex girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins, said that she had used Brett Kimmel before in a past case. She thought that it was inappropriate that Brett Kimmel would be working against her for 50 Cent, aka Curtis Jackson.

It was known that Shaniqua Tompkins would be trying to block 50 Cent from getting insurance money from the house that burned down. Tompkins had accused 50 Cent of burning down his own house that she was living in. 50 Cent has denied starting the fire and has sued Tompkins for defamation. 50 Cent wants $20 million in damages.

The media had approached Brett Kimmel to comment but were unsuccessful.

50 Cent & Shaniqua Tompkins in happier times.

Rapper 50 Cent has been ordered by a judge to stay away from his ex-girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins. If he wants to have a visitation with his son, Marquise, he has to pick the boy up from the curb.

Shaniqua has a temporary restraining order filed against Curtis Jackson (50 Cent). He has to forfeit guns and firearms and stay away from any premises where Shaniqua is. Shaniqua’s lawyer, Paul Catsandonis said that they would try to get a permanent restraining order against 50 Cent in July.

Curtis Jackson’s lawyer, Brett Kimmel, said that Curtis Jackson has not seen or spoken to Shaniqua for one and a half years. He said that Shaniqua’s petition might be a response to 50 Cent’s petition holding Ms. Tomkins in contempt of court because she refused to allow him to see his son.

50 Cent has slapped Shaniqua with a $20 million defamation lawsuit in Connecticut. She had accused 50 Cent of burning down his house and trying to kill her and Marquise, their son. 50 Cent wants the court to order Shaniqua to allow him to visit his Marquise, 11, as in accordance with an earlier court order. The investigation into the Dix Hills fire that burned down 50 Cent’s house is still ongoing.

Sadia Morrison, stylist to the stars, was found dead after being thrown from a building in New York.

Morrison’s high profile client base included rappers Kanye West, Plies, 50 Cent, and Young Jeezy; singer Fantasia, boxer Zab Judah, NFL players Clinton Portis and Thomas Jones, and many more.

Reports say friends became worried about Morrison when they hadn’t heard from Morrison on Friday.

Sadia Morrison was previously arrested after a fight that broke out in the Minxx in February 2007. The shooting just outside of the club left a bouncer, Tommy Urbanski, paralyzed from the waist down.

Morrison pleaded no contest to the battery charge for her part in the fight. She was sentenced to three years probation.

Morrison’s brother, Paul, did not think her death was connected to the shooting at the Minxx.

Her brother spoke to the medical examiners to identify the body. He stated that she had two head injuries, one from hitting a satellite dish and another probably caused by her attacker.

Paul Morrison said his sister was fierce and blunt, and didn’t take “no” for an answer. He went on to say, “If Sadia’s with you, she’s with you,” Morrison said. “If something happens, she’s with you. Sometimes it leads to her downfall, but that’s the way it is.”

As you know, rapper 50 Cent’s Long Island mansion was burned to the ground on Friday. His enraged ex-girlfriend and baby mama, Shaniqua Tompkins is accusing 50 Cent of purposely torching the $2.4 million dollar home in Long Island. Shaniqua was in the home at the time with two of her children, one being 50 Cent’s 10-year-old son, as well as Tompkins current boyfriend’s two children and a nanny.

Shaniqua Tompkins said, “He tried to kill me and his own child,” Tompkins claimed, as she stood screaming outside the burned estate. The reps for 50 Cent refused to respond her her allegations.

The Dix Hills Fire Chief Larry Feld called the blaze “highly suspicious.” He said the fire ignited on the first floor. The arson investigators were spotted taking a 5-gallon container of gas, which was found on the edge of the property.

Shaniqua Tompkins stated that 50 Cent threatened her a few days before the fire during a deposition saying, ‘Watch what I’ll do. I’ll have someone come kill you.” Tompkins was in the process of trying to acquire half of 50 Cents fortune, as well as the home that was completely destroyed by the fire.

Rapper 50 cent released a statement saying he “is extremely thankful that everyone including his son, Marquise, escaped the burning house safely.”

50 cent had a house in Dix Hills, New York. His ex-girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins and his son, Marquise, 10, were staying there. The house burned down.

Six people were treated in hospital for smoke inhalation. They were released later on. The local Fire Department Chief said that it did not look like an accident. Arson investigators were sent to look for clues.

Yesterday, on May 29, 50 cent and Shaniqua had an argument at Shaniqua’s lawyer offices. A man in 50 cent’s entourage got angry and messed up the lawyer’s office.

50 cent’s spokesperson has issued a statement. 50 cent expressed his gratitude that everyone was safe. Shaniqua gave a press statement outside her burnt house. She has accused 50 cent of being connected to the fire.

Cent explained to attending pressmen that he loved competitions and he loved challenging Lance on this one. He betted that his “50 x 50” will sell more copies that Lance’s “Out Of N’Syn”.

Lance was not one to take it down lightly so he played pat-a-cake. At his launch party, he said that 50 Cent was going down. Without even reading his book, Lance confidently said that 50 had no relationships (with guys) to boast about in his “50 x 50” book. Lance then proceeded to drop another bomb. He made a wild guess that 50 Cent has had no space training either.

Some communication about his past case did not reach him and the bureaucratic red tape carried on the procedures against him. So, the red tape administrators should be red faced, not Lil’ Wayne.
