In a lawsuit filed last summer, Buddy Sheffield said he pitched a television series called ”Rock and Roland” to the Disney Channel in 2001.

”The series revolved around a junior high school student who appears to lead an entirely unremarkable life, but is secretly a pop/rock star and the main breadwinner for his family,” Sheffield said in the suit.

Disney Channel officials were at first enthusiastic about the project but later decided to pass, the lawsuit claimed.

E-Poll Market Research asked more than 1,100 people ages 13 and older whom they found the most appealing, confident, glamorous, interesting and over-exposed, among other qualities out of ten of the most talked about celebrities of 2007.

Reese Witherspoon, 30, topped the list with a personal appeal rating of 74 percent, followed by former Friends TV star Jennifer Aniston came in at 70 percent. Angelina Jolie was the No. 3 most appealing celebrity at 53 percent.

Actress/singer Jennifer Lopez was behind her with a 52 percent rating, while Katie Holmes followed at 32 percent and behind her was former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham in the No. 6 position with a rating of 28 percent.

Paris Hilton was at the bottom of the list with only a 9 percent likeability rating. The heiress was also voted the most over-exposed.

Police will seek the extradition of the woman accused of fleeing to Canada after cutting Leonardo DiCaprio with a broken beer bottle at a party in 2005, authorities said.

DiCaprio suffered “great bodily injury” when Aretha Wilson, 37, allegedly attacked him with a broken beer bottle on June 20, 2005, as he was leaving a party in Hollywood Hills, according to the arrest warrant charging her with one count of assault with a deadly weapon.

The fourth series of the series on the children’s TV network Nickelodeon was allegedly under threat after news broke last month (Dec07) that 16-year-old Spears was expecting a baby. However, Nickelodeon has confirmed it will be broadcasting the show on February (08) as originally scheduled.

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has donated his spectacles and a hand-written letter to a new exhibition commemorating the Holocaust. The actor, whose mother is Jewish, has given his first pair of glasses – worn when he was six years old – to an art exhibit to mark National Holocaust Day on 27 January (08). One of the most distinctive and memorable parts of the Harry Potter character is, of course, his round glasses donned by countless Potter fans. So this donation by Radcliffe is especially fitting to the project.

Pamela Anderson’s on and off marriage to new husband Rick Salomon appears to be off again – the actress has served her spouse with divorce papers according to a recent report by CelebTV.com. Anderson’s lawyer filed a proof of summons document last Friday (28Dec07) in Los Angeles Superior Court despite earlier claims in December by Anderson that she and her hubby of two months were “working things out.”
