Clint Eastwood’s divorce with estranged wife Dina is going to be nasty!
Clint filed a response to Dina’s divorce papers, refusing to pay her spousal support and asking her to pay her own legal fees.
Dina, a former news anchor, filed for divorce from the 83-year-old actor in October after 17 years of marriage.
She filed the documents in Monterey County Superior Court in Carmel, California, citing the standard “irreconcilable differences”. She asked for full physical and joint legal custody of their 16-year-old daughter Morgan and spousal support and attorney fees to be paid by her estranged husband.
Clint Eastwood is reportedly worth $350 million but doesn’t appear to want to share it with his wife of 17 years. The actor and director revealed in his response that they secretly separated more than a year ago, on June 2, 2012.
In Dina’s filing, she stated that they have a prenuptial agreement but the property rights are still “to be determined”.
Clint and Dina got married in 1996 after meeting during a television interview where she was the host. Clint was previously married to Maggie Johnson and had two children with her. He has four other children from previous relationships.
Things appeared to be amicable, at least according to Dina, who had nothing but nice things to say about Clint during a television interview.
