Kate Hudson may not have set an actual wedding date yet with Matt Bellamy, but her nine-year-old son Ryder already has his tuxedo picked out. Let’s just say it will be colorful!
Kate appeared on the “Ellen DeGeneres” show, where she talked about her son being ready for her to tie the knot.
The actress was asked if her son Ryder and two-year-old Bingham want her to get married.
Kate replied Ryder did, stating, “I think he looks forward to more the party than the actually the idea of us getting married. He seems to have it really planned out, what he’s wearing.”
She adds, “Apparently he wants to wear a neon green tux – I’m all for it. He loves neon green. He wants to wear neon green with black. That’s pretty cool, he’s a bit of a fashion boy.”
Kate, 34, has been engaged to Muse frontman Matt, Bingham’s father, since 2011. Kate was previously married to Black Crowe’s singer Chris Robinson, Ryder’s father.
Ellen also showed the audience pictures of Kate Hudson and her mother Goldie Hawn, 67, playing tennis in ballgowns at a charity bash in London in July.
The event was thrown by tennis star Novak Djokovic to raise money to support vulnerable and disadvantaged children.
Both women were still wearing their designer gowns when they grabbed their tennis rackets at the event.
Ellen had a little fun as she recreated the moment by dressing Kate in a gold gown with a large hooped skirt which she described as “so Downton Abbey”.
Each hit earned $1,000, donated by JCPenney, for breast cancer research and she raised an impressive $10,000 with a bit of help from Ellen.
