“The Ellen DeGeneres Show” sends their writer Amy Rhodes, who is easily scared, to a haunted house every year. This Halloween Ellen had her executive producer Andy Lassner join Amy. The resulting video is double the hilarity.

Andy ends up hiding behind Amy during most of the “Walking Dead” themed haunted house.

Ellen DeGeneres said, “(Lassner) and Amy went to Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights, and oh my God, this is one of my favorite things I’ve ever seen in my life”.

The haunted house was “Walking Dead” themed so Andy and Amy had to walk through the faux prison with darkened halls of scary zombies.

At one point, Rhodes gets onto Lassner for using her as a block through the haunted house. Amy screams, “Why are you hiding behind me?” You’re a man, be a man, be a man.”

Rhodes again calls Lassner out for pushing her forward, but his crazy explanation is, “They know you, they know you, they’re not gonna (grab you). I’m a guy.”

Umm..that makes no sense but is hilarious.

Andy obviously is scared to death and takes his anger out on the zombies, telling them to “stop it right now”.

They get to the final turn and get surprised by scary zombie. Lassner shrieks, “Are you (expletive) kidding me?”

Once they’ve survived the house, the two share a hug in relief. “Why do people pay for this?” Lassner asks. “Happy, Ellen?”

Ellen was so tickled that she had to wipe away tears. She told Andy, “You literally … you hid behind a girl. Thank you for starting a new tradition, we’re going to send both of you through the haunted house every year now.”
